have you tried clicking refresh?Nobody answered my question :/
Nobody answered my question :/
is there any risk of corrupting my game data if I wi-fi battle people who use hacked characters or semi-legit hacked characters?
i am almost positive it WOULD be a hack for the same reason pokesave is, the thing is being generated, not replaced and therefore a falicious version. i could be wrongIf I were to copy my Diamond cart and save file onto a flashcart, would the pokemon I had before and pokemon I breed or catch after be hacked(as in, the data is incorrect)? I wouldn't think so since its basically a mass clone and exact copy of the game, but I'd like to be certain.
Before you answer with "this question is against the rules", I'd like to point out that i'm asking for factual data, not opinion.
well yes it is a copy paste but nothing was on the flash before and no actuall nintendo soft ware so the game sees it as unusual territory. all you have to remember for much of this to make since is that nintendo never makes anything easier for usHow is it being generated as opposed to replaced? I'm not sure what you mean by that statement exactly.
Edit: Perhaps I should give more specifics on what I'm talking about so its more clear:
There's a flashcart application that can be used to send a copy of the game and save file on a retail cart to a computer, and from there to the flashcart.
I'm not sure if it counts as "generating" since the save file is apparantly a copy+paste type of thing, if I'm understanding correctly, but I'm obviously unsure since I'm asking.
no prob i like helping and it is probably a good idea to get an experienced persons opinionated and factual idealol true, Nintendo makes everything difficult.
But to be sure about this issue, I'd like to know from someone who has had experience with this type of operation and the hex data to be sure of the fact. I do understand what you're saying, though, and I thank you for your help.
