Hm well I'm somewhat afraid to try this (unless others have done this already) but if I equip an everstone with a female brave rhyhorn (that has good IVs except DEF) and breed her with a male Def + nature male rhyhorn (that has good DEF IVs), then I'm wondering what are the odds that the new offspring will have high IVs from both the mom and dad.

Or is my curiousity still too vauge for you?

Still too vague. You need to specify what "good IV's" means to you.
 
where can I find a shaymin-s sprite?

oh and ninjadead, you just take 8 extra evs from hp and put them in speed to make gyara hit the same speed.

It depends on which speed tier you want to outspeed after a dragon dance (assuming that you do want a dragon dancer). Assuming it's adamant, if you want to outspeed skymin after 1 DD, you will need to have 31 Speed IV, but if you just want to outspeed 125s or 120s or something lower, then you can still manage with 29 IV. Just look in the smogon analysis for how many EVs you need in speed to outspeed which speed, but for your Gyarados just add 8 more speed EVs to compensate for the 2 stat points your Gyarados lacks.

Sorry, I didn't go via the main site. I just googled Shaymin sprite and this was the one that came up. I didn't see it mention anywhere that hotlinking was prohibited.

If you're really feel that strongly about it, I can delete my post?
 
I don't have Excel on my computer, so I can't use X-Acts Pokemon Type Coverage applet. Would someone with it be willing to compare two movesets of the same Pokemon to see which would do more on average?
 
I was wondering, if you Ev train a lv 50 pokemon, will the box trick work so you dont have to level it up to 51 and still get the stat increases?
 
A question I've been wondering about for a while, if I use Knock Off on a Shedinja still holding on to its Focus Sash, does the sash fall off before or after the damage is dealt? What I'm really getting at is does it kill it at once, or does the sash still activate
