Blissey @ Leftovers
Bold Nature
Natural Cure
252 hp / 132 def / 124 spA
-Defense Curl
-Flamethrower
-Softboiled
-Seismic Toss

Defense curl blissey, i have tested this and after 2 or 3 defense curls this can wall a tyranitar or even weaville, The defense ev's give 100 defense ans max hp, the extra ev's are in special attack to hit ghosts that resist Seismic toss, hitting froslass for a OHKO, with 31 iv's the spA stat can reach 217, more than enough to put a dent in gengar and dusknoir.
Softboiled is essential for one turn recovery

Unfortunately for your Blissey, the problem that Blissey has with sweepers coming in and setting up on her is even greater without even the threat of status. Gyarados or Salamence both switch in with no risk and DD up to their hearts content. Gyara hurts Blissey even more since it can Taunt her and stop her from using Defense Curl or healing.

the idea is to get a defense curl or two on a special sweeper or a switch then seismic toss the opponent while they try to match blisseys defense boosts

Yes, but who leaves a Special Sweeper in against Blissey in the first place. Most "competant"(sp?) players will swap to a physical attacker at the first sight of the pink lumo.

Just a notice:
Please hold off on any updates to UU analyses as of right now. As the metagame just went through a complete overhaul, it is not particularly stable at the moment. Not only that, but since all sets should be tested before posting and New UU only started recently, these peer edits would not be adequately tested, regardless.

Feel free to keep personal notes for future use, but please don't post them here just yet.

This is in regards to C&C.

I think it should be a spread of 132 HP / 252 Def / 124 SpA. Blissey needs MAX defense even on a normal set. Since we are going with a mix wall of sorts, the extra EVs are in HP but can always be put in special defense, because walling special attacks is what Blissey is primarily used for anyway. The SpA EVs seem to hit a benchmark as you say, but can likely be lowered because OHKOing Froslass isn't exactly a problem in standard play. Also, if you bring Blissey in on a special attacker and start defense curling and an SD Luke comes in... you're screwed. It will either wait to get to +6 Attack as you get +6 Defense, or KO with Close Combat if you try to get some damage with Flamethrower, as it outspeeds you. I think this set still doesn't hold up against Blissey's counters.

I just tried out this Dragonite set I was thinking of using for a TRU Mild Dragonite and it worked pretty well.

Mild Dragonite @ Life Orb
74 Att/ 184 Speed/ 252 Sp Att
~Dragon Dance
~Dragon Claw
~Fire Blast
~Draco Meteor

So you get in on something that's gonna switch. Dragon Dance. Skarm comes in- Fire Blast- dead. Starmie comes in- Dragon Claw- dead. Zapdos comes in- Draco Meteor- dead. The Pokes are situational, but you get the point. Get your speed up, kill counters, and sweep w/ STAB Dragon Claws coming off huge Attack stat.

The given EVs give it 363 Speed after a Dragon Dance (outspeeding the likes of Starmie and Azelf) and yields 483 Att (*628 if you count the 1.3x Life Orb increase), while Dnite's Special Attack is 328 (*426 w/ Life Orb included, only a 6% difference from max Sp Att Salamence).

Dragon Claw means you don't get locked into any one move. DC/FB/ and DM cover every threat I can think of except Heatran >_> so hopefully he's outta the way.

^^ pretty much a (very) practical and (way) more effective version of the current "Agility Mix Set" in the analysis.

IIRC Heatran is caught after level 50 so that would work great for the Nintendo tournament (which I assume this is the special Dragonite from)

Caught @ level 50 in Platinum.

Truthfully most teams have a theme around it for the tournament, other than a goodstuffs team I don't know where a Dragonite can fit in. Btw, I'll guess the first Sp Atk stat is a typo meant to be regular attack? :P

Heh, yeah.

This actually ripped teams apart in Shoddy earlier. I guess Outrage could be used, but the entire point of this set it being able to reliable take out Counters, than Old Fashioned Dragon Claw sweepage.

Well is this designed for just regular play, or the Official Tournament? If its for the tournament I'd somehow playtest it in doubles on Wi-Fi or something.

How can you get EV's on a lv. 50 TRU Dragonite without the use of Vitamins? It gains stats on the level up, and you said you tested it on Shoddy, so...

You mean just to put the stats on there?

The box trick (deposit, exit PC, withdraw). Or you can give the pokemon an EV reducing berry in any stat and that should readjust everything.

I guess I have to post my sets in this thread :(

Hypno @ Leftovers
252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD Calm
- Wish
- Protect
- Toxic
- Seismic Toss / Psychic

Not creative, but a variant on the standard that's designed to stall all the new UU threats. It isn't 2HKOed by Shaymin Seed Flare unless it drops Special Defense, so it can stall it out of PP or until a drop comes and switch out. Toxic hits most everything for stalling, and the stuff that it doesn't that Hypno could otherwise stall (Raikou) doesn't like being Seismic Tossed. Psychic is if you don't care about Raikou and want to hit Poisons SE. It's simple, but really effective, considering a lot of walls without recovery (Hariyama!) love to eat a Dark move.

That's definitely something. Watch out for pokes like Absol, Gallade, and Chansey switching in, don't want them setting up/statusing you.

It's not for the tournament >_>
It's for standard play, it was only made point that Heatran wouldn't be available for the tournament.

Hitmonlee @ leftovers/life orb
Limber
252 Attack / 252 HP / 6 Sp. Def. Adamant
-Foresight
-Rapid Spin
-Close Combat
-Whatever (Mach Punch, Knock Off, Earthquake...)

The only spinner who can hit ghosts. Even if the ghost switches, Rapid Spin should hit the next pokémon. Can also be made more defensive. Limber helps against Rotom with Discharge/Thunder Wave.

Edit: Just noticed that Donphan has Odor Sleuth, so it could run a similar set, but I prefer Hitmonlee's special defenses.

sure it can: I'm sure it has enough sp. defense to take a hit and get rid of the spikes, which you must really want gone if you've gone to the point of using an extra moveslot just to guarantee that NOTHING stops you. Obviously an option for Shedinja teams, anyway.

My old UU Blastoise...

Blastoise@ Chesto
Surf
Rapid Spin
Rest
Mirror Coat

I think ev's were like 200 Hp 152 Def 152 SDef. Worked nicely from what I remember.
