Awesome. I just chained me a Shiny Miltank. The chain broke because I decided to put the Miltank as lead to fight the upcoming Miltanks. Repel fails and I break the chain. I don't mind though because Miltank doesn't have an evolved form.

Going for Ponyta now (because I find the Ponyta evolution line Shinies to be some of the coolest looking) Or maybe I just like Barn Animals...

a long time lurker here, making my first post after having several problems creating an account :)

I've been chaining for quite a while now, so I'd say I'm okay at it.
Recently got 41 shiny Bellsprouts, (I was going for oddish, but the chain kept breaking at stupid small numbers so I gave up on that) 28 were Modest in nature (my Syncher), the best of which being :

Modest; 27 / 30 / 21 / 25 / 31 / 20
Modest; 14 / 30 / 25 / 28 / 27 / 19
Modest; 28 / 25 / 30 / 3 / 30 / 16 (3 SpA makes me cry )

Also a nice spitback;

Hasty (meh); 9 / 25 / 29 / 30 / 14 / 28


The damned chain seemed content with providing me with great ATK stats heh :(

Anyway, not too unhappy with those results. I'll probably try for Oddish again next, but nobody would believe me if I told them how unlucky I've been with those so far :D

For someone who has just been lurking, these are quite good results. :)

What's so meh about hasty? bel's got a great attack stat.

modest one is nice too :)
 
Sucker Punch too, as well as Poison Jab. To be honest, it is so much more effective on the physical spectrum than special.
 
Well, I've been lurking for a year or so, silent...watching....:heart:

I've been chaining since the start of '08 with a few successes, but only recently have I started chaining for more competitive reasons (good natures, IV's etc).
I'm glad to see that at least one of my 'Sprouts is good, anyway.

/edit Wow, Vict gets some physical love in Plat. Makes it all the more worth-while! (for the hasty one, anyway)

decided to go through the rest of my old shinies, and found these two from a Nido chain I did a few days back;

Nidoran(F) Rash - Poison Point
20 / 3 / 29 / 31 / 20 / 29 - Support Lead set maybe?

Nidoran(F) Brave - Poison Point
22 / 31 / 27 / 2 / 26 / 17

Unfortunately I didn't use a syncher on this, by the time I remembered my chain was up to 30 odd, so I thought I'd try my luck.
I got a few others with Rivalry, but it's a pretty poor ability compared to PP.
 
Adamant Female Intimidate Ultra Ball:
1 - 9 / 30 / 18 - 19 / 4 - 7 / 10 - 11 / 10 - 19

Nice attack, not even remotely good anything else. Best of the three though, and my first ever shiny. :D


Adamant Male Intimidate Ultra Ball:
1 - 9 / 25 / 23 - 30 / 30 / 5 - 6 / 10 - 19

Special attack. Yippee.


Adamant Female Rivalry Pokéball:
1 - 9 / 28 / 23 - 28 / 10 / 10 - 11 / 0

Somewhat decent attack I guess.

I have those Synchs. What should I chain? Preferably super sexy shinies! I'll post here with my finished products.
 
Delcatty! Magneton! Metagross! (lol)

Ugh...Im blank. Lol, but those are some I'm doing (Magnemite is HARD and I didn't get a good nature for Delcatty, and I'm just gonna reset for Metagross in Sapphire, screw chaining him)

EDIT: I didn't even consider the nature XP My bad.
 
Barve Golem. Quiet Metagross(though this would be insanely hard seeing as they're in the sand and you need HP[fire], Lonely Machamp, Calm Blissey. that's all I can think of right off the back

EDIT: Timid Pikachu, though it would prefer a hidden power if you could get it

Although it doesn't have one ability only, my best recommendation, giving those very limiting natures, is a Brave Krabby in a Nest Ball (for Trick Room Kingler). However, this will be a little difficult to keep in the Ball, seeing as Krabby's Swarm on Route 226 will be of a level so high that the Ball's effects are negated, but its ridiculously high catch rate of 225 will have them in the Balls with ease. It will have Slam, Brine, Flail, and Crabhammer, so there's no risk of it KOing itself with recoil damage until it runs out of PP. It also has two abilities, Hyper Cutter and Shell Armor; I remember you asking in a later post for one ability only, so take this fact as you will.

Oh! Try chaining Budews! That's exactly what I'm trying to do, only I suck at chaining and haven't broken the double digit barrier yet. Look it up, shiny Roserade are very smexy. Timid or Modest, btw.
