Look At What I Chained - Mark II

My new target is Gligar (I'm not sure why, I usually go for UU/BL Poke's), but Oh God, they take ages to appear. It's an 8% appearance rate for all it's routes, but I'm pretty sure its higher on route 214 than anywhere else.
Two chain's broke in their mid-20's. Nuts. :toast:

they're realy anoyying, becuase I was chaining geodude once and they broke the chain 5 out of the 6 times it broke :/ and then when I tried to chain them they would never show up :( I almost never remove my emerald cartridge for fear I might lose it

On the topic of Gligars, I chained them for a third time and got:

Impish
Sand Veil
25/16/19/1/23/29

Good enough for me and its in a Quick Ball for those who care

Well, around 30 minutes resetting trying to find one Gligar to even start my bloody chain, so I'm gonna try for summat else I think :)

Nice result Gin :toast:

So I checked the IVs on my Abra catching (now Kadabra) and they're actually pretty good (in my opinion).

Great Speed and Special Attack here. I really don't care about the other stats.

Perfect IV in Special Attack is pretty sexy. And yes, that is a Master Ball. I did not want that damn Abra to Teleport on me.

I am too lazy to check the exact IVs but what do you guys think?

I also chained a Shiny Roselia earlier. The best part is I caught it on a chain of 6!

IVs: not worth mentioning lol

I am going to go for Slowpoke now...

You can catch Roselia in the Trophy Garden. I'd know, because I've had my Eevee chains broken way too many times by them. ;3

I wouldn't call that the best spot to do it though >__>;

I don't know what to chain. After resetting forever for Rayquaza and still shinyless, I need to see some shiny to lift my spirits. Everything off the top of my head is too hard/annoying to attempt, so what should I go for?

Woohoo! I just caught an UNSHINY ditto in my chain, but i'm happy i did.
IVs 5hp/31atk/12def/30spe/30spA/15spD
This is going to be a HUGE help to my team building

Ahh yay!

This'll have to be the curser, but I won't be able to get Quick Attack on it. What's the best alternative?

It can be done, as I have. Good luck, and hope for a decent nature.

Curser loves QA :\. Since it has Brave+low speed IV, then why not use Choice Band in Trick Room or something?

That's an idea I suppose, not too experienced with Trick Room though.

I suppose most of you guys are good enough at chaining that you don't even think of it, but I was wondering whether anyone had preferred patches of grass to do their chaining on? My two best combos so far have been on route 209.

contrary to quite a few people, I prefer chaining on the smaller patches. Makes it more, I dont know, manageable maybe? Just visually, that is.

The Trophy Garden and Route 201 are some of my favorites, seeing as it's been where I've chained my Porygon and >100 Nidoran M chains, respectively. Outside Stark Mountain is one of the better patches for chaining for me, but it holds a negative place in my mind, for being where I chained >120 Torkoals and still didn't manage to reach my intended goal.

I prefer the huge patch of grass on Route 222. That is where I chained my awesome Shiny Flaafy. Route 210 is not bad either because I chained Bagon pretty easily.

I've got to go with Route 222. That's where I did my first (and currently only) 40 chain of Skitty! It's freaking huge, so you have a great chance at getting a "good" patch and if not then resetting is low risk. Acuity Lakefront isn't bad either, but it's a little narrow (got to 36 there).

Was HP EV training my Rash Nidoqueen just now, and I decided to start a chain of Gastro's instead of just randomly fighting them.

This popped up,

Cant provide exact EV's, it's not on my Diamond game, but oh well, I guess its not too bad for something I wasn't actually trying for. No synch, and I broke the chain after this Shiny at 41.
