Any suggestions? Obviously Glaceon (Timid) and Flareon (Modest) are a little neglected, but you can't win 'em all.

Bottom of last page, sorry to repost. Looking for opinions on Nest Ball, as I've never used it.
 
Nest ball looks pretty cool, i used it on some glooms i chained and they seemd okay. Luxury balls always seem good though.
 
i really like nest balls myself.

those and repeat balls (which could work for flareon) are my favorites.


dive ball could work for glaceon as well.
 
Hmm, I just Nest Ball'd my first shiny Eevee (at 35), and I didn't like what I saw. I think I may have confused them with Safari Balls or something. Now I need another ball for Jolteon and Espeon... I'm thinking Quick, maybe Premier or Luxury? Halp! What looks coolest with bright green?

Glad to hear it. My comment was suppose to be a confidence-booster, but I just reread it and it sounded much more like I was bragging. Oops. :o
 
So my first two Nincada chains on this cartridge went relatively well. The first one was kind of a downer, as I only got 4 shinies before the chain broke (I forgot where one of the patches was and walked into it...), and none of them were remotely usable. My second chain I caught seven Shiny Nincadas before it took so long to find another shiny patch that I got bored with it and left. This one seems to be the best of the bunch:

Speed makes me want to cry, but Ninjask is fast enough on its own anyways. HP and ATK are the highest out of all the ones I caught, and DEF is pretty good too, which I need because I plan on using the Speed Passer set for it, so it needs to be able to take hits better.

Diesel has said that there will always be a 1-away, a 2-away, a 3-away, and a 4-away. If I'm right in thinking a four-away is the green patch, then how come I get spreads like this?

The two bolded patches are both 1-aways, aren't they? :x

And Diesel, I don't know the exact formation, but you said that a formation like this was safe:

It was something like that, but the two and four are in the same line. Isn't that bad?

Not as good IV-wise as my Lickitung, but still freaking sweet. Caught it in a Nest Ball, it matches it's colours :)
 
Eh... Tauros' shiny colors look a bit ugly to me. >.> Still, a shiny's a shiny, so congrats on it.

I've got Swinub as my swarm today, so it looks like I'm going to be attempting my first chain in the snow. Any tips for chaining in heavy weather from the pros?
 
Ack, I havn't chained since my Dittos a week or more ago, and I have no idea what to go for. I'm a bit annoyed because my Nidoran/Bellsprout and Ditto were all so amazing, its going to be hard to live up to that :heart:

A challenge you will lose, haha. You're honestly better off breeding one. Go to Route 216, hit Y, and you'll immediately see what I mean (if you see anything at all). :P

Yeah, I see what he means... Guess I'll just have to settle for a regular one. :(

I made it to a whopping 2 chain before it broke, and the second one was a complete accident. I think I'll try elsewhere... Perhaps Bronzong/Bronzor will be my next target.

Bah, I don't have a Sassy Synchronizer. Guess I'm off for more Ralts hunting...
