Just wondering... can Close Combat be bred onto Tyrogue?

I have...
Hitmonlee ♂ Lv. 51 w/ Close Combat
with
Adamant Ditto

will it be passed on?

Then what should I do?
Fire, Ice, and Dragon hits everything but Heatran for neutral. If you have something decent on your team for countering it, you could use a solar-booster HP Fire with Ice Beam and Dragon Pulse for type diversity, Recover, and have Life Orb. Just my best guess.

The problem is that the two Pokemon work off of conflicting weather.

How this for a breloom i bred in emerald to be used in D/p

Breloom @ Leftovers
Effect spore
52 hp/252 att/204 spd
~Spore
~Substitute
~Leech Seed
~Focus punch

I Bred it in emerald..planning to import it onto D/p(flawless attack.amazing stats)
Should i add or change anything..this is it's current moveset/spread,before importing?plan to use it in D/P battle tower.

A set with Poison Heal would make the most of Leech Seed, and the Sub Puncher with Stone Edge is done better with Poison Heal too. Maybe consider using it as an SD Breloom, who prefers to use LO instead of Toxic Orb, as with any other set this Breloom will be inferior to one with Poison Heal, even if it is at the cost of a couple of stat points.

What speed does heatran have when you battle itwhen it has 31 iv, and what would be an easy way to check it while im battling it. Such as the espeon for azelf

Assuming you're SRing for +speed: if you're SRing in D/P (lv 70) then its speed is 97, but if you're playing in Platinum (lv 50) then its speed is 71.

For neutral speed nature: Lv 50 -> 65 and Lv 70 -> 89

For "synchronizing it speed", use a Pokemon with a speed lower by one point, if it outspeeds then catch it, if not reset. Just do a search with your Pokemon in boxes (check their speed)/and use an IV calculator to find a Pokemon with a close level that fits.

I think you have an equal chance to sleep for 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 turns. When you are put to sleep, the game calculates how many turns you will sleep for. So I would say you have a 20% chance to wake up.

So if you get put to sleep, you'll have a 20% chance to wake up first turn.
If you don't wake up, you have a 25% chance to wake up second turn.
33% third turn.
50% fourth turn.
100% fifth turn.

*I think.

If you use explosion against something with Clear Body(eg Azelf explodes on a Metagross) do you calculate the damage as if the defense was halved, or does Clear Body block that?

That is correct according to the Research thread. The game sets a turn timer with equal probability for each turn amount.

While I don't have proof to back this, I think the defense is still halved. Clear body prevents negative stages (so it would prevent a normal -2 defense), but explosion goes straight to the stat for its calculated power. Again, no real proof.

I'm pretty sure it still acts as if the defense was cut, kinda like how WoW and T-Wave still affect Clear Body Pokemon's stats.

Thunder Wave, if I recall, was distinctly coded as a move with zero base power but with a 100% chance of inflicting the Paralyze status, and is distinct in this way from other status moves like Hypnosis (which, if it functioned like Thunder Wave did, would never have an effect against Dark types).
Hey, wouldn't this mean that Shield Dust pokemon (the very few that we never see) shouldn't get paralyzed by Thunder Wave?

how do you get legends with supreme IVs? you can check speed (if it move before a 200 spd poke, for example) and HP (desired HP-1 Endeavor user). but what about the other stats? Another thing: to get a modest kyogre (regardless of the IVs) i spent 30 min. How many time until you find these almost perfect legendaries?

I hope you're playing Emerald. There's a thread in the Wifi section, "Emerald's Broken PRNG", that details how to manipulate the game into getting better IVs. Otherwise, you're just going to have to rely on pure luck.
