I have a question on hacking.
If you buy a used game that was hacked, but cleared the save file(removing all of the hacks and stuff), would that game cart remain "Flagged"? Meaning that traces of action replay are on the game cart?
 
Question on roaming pokemon (E.g. Suicune, Lati@s)

Are their attributes generated on each separate encounter, or are they set in stone at some other point?

In other words, let say I'm hunting down Suicune (which I will be in the future). Let's say I encounter him and toss a Masterball and see it has an Adamant nature. Can I SR, hunt him down again, and catch him again, except he'll have a different nature (and IV's)?

Any help would be appreciated.
 
Question about Custap Berry:

It's supposed to activate "in a pinch," right? So, say my Metagross is under a quarter of it's health, the next turn the berry should activate and I should go first, right? I've yet to get it to work in the WiFi battle tower in D/P. My Metagross was vs. a Scizor, and I survived a +2 X-Scissor with 10 HP. Custap was then supposed to activate and I'd Earthquake it to death, but instead no message popped up and the Scizor killed me.

I was wondering if I was doing something wrong, because I've had a Custap Metagross defeat me before, so I'm thinking it would work. >_> I'm so confused.

ok well from what i know as soon as you choose the color for the Lati@s the nature and IV's are set so you can SR for it but save before choosing color. also forr the legendary dogs the nature is set as soon as you get the nation dex in FR/LG but the IV's will always be the same. so i suggest you SR it in colleseum.
 
How viable is Heatproof Bronzong? Everyone uses so much Levitate Bronzongs, that they don't even bother to use EQ. What if I switched to Heatrproof?
 
I think more advanced opponents would figure you out after one fire attack, after which you're open to earthquakes. You also lose the ability to freely switch into ground attacks.

Especially if you plan on exploding it, it can be useful, but in most cases, I'd say Levitate is the way to go.

I'm quite sure it doesn't. The game data is stored in a ROM, so you should not be able to modify it. With hacking devices you can only alter the save file, so starting a new one should ensure no traces of previous hacks.

"If an attack with a secondary effect that affects this Pokemon is used, the secondary effect will not trigger. If the effect instead has an affect on the user of the move, it will still go into effect."

According to that, it blocks it.

Digging the the underground is a good way to get a steady supply. Right now, I have 29 moon stones on my Pearl.

My question is about when Shiny chances are determined on eggs. Are they determined along with the gender and ability, or can you soft reset for them like you can for the IVs?

I had another one, but I can't remember it this very moment...

EDIT: Aha! Got it. There are a couple, actually.

Hustle: Does it reduce the accuracy of all moves by 20%, or does it just reduce all things more accurate than 80% to 80%? The word "average" got me mildly confused. Also, do Wide Lens or Gravity effect the accuracy of a hustler? I bet it sounds stupid to ask, but I don't know, so I'd thought I'd ask.

Also, can someone explain Me First to me? I understand exactly how it works in 1v1, but I never have got it to work in 2v2 (I've only tried it twice, to be honest), so I was wondering the precise explaination on it.
 
I want a good Stealth Rocker for my team, but I only have one TM, so I want to make it count. I'd also like it if the pokemon that I'd give it to had a wide breeding tree, so I could pass it on to other pokemon through breeding if necessary.

Any suggestions?
 
How do people get so many TMs? Do they literally just play through the game several times/trade with other people that've done that?

Heh, that's what I do. I'm currently playing through Emerald to re-get TMs as well as just enjoy the game, as I haven't played r/s/e in a long time. But I bought a copy of diamond when I had pearl for that same reason, as well as buying r/s/e/fr/lg copies at gamestop used, just to gank stuff off of there every once in a while.


But that was when I had money :( :( :(

Reminds me of the time when a guy had a box full of identical Manectrics. I was so confused.

When you challenge/are challenged, a checklist will pop up. The challenger clicks whatever rules they want to play, and the challenged can accept or reject.
