Can a neutral nature Infernape with a 31 atk iv and 72 Atk Evs OHKO a Kingdra with a 31 Hp and Def Iv and 92 Hp Evs with Mach Punch including a boost from Helping Hand, STAB and Life Orb?

Not even close.

A 252 Attack EV, +Attack nature Infernape can't even do up to 50% to that Kingdra, even with all the boosts. Kingdra is surprisingly bulky, not to mention Infernape doesn't really hit THAT hard, especially with Mach Punch.
 
So all my shitty breeding along with catching every pokemon I could has almost filled up all the pokemon boxes in my Pearl. What can I do besides releasing them (which I refuse to do, since there may be worthwhile IV's and such and if I ever want to breed that pokemon again I won't need to start from scratch)? Are they going to be releasing perhaps a DSi app that gives me a lot of boxes? Also, I refuse to purchase a Wii and Pokemon Ranch because I'm not interested in enough games on the Wii.

So what do I do?

You either release or buy a Wii and get Ranch there is nothing else to do. Or you can buy another game and put them all there

If you have a sub up you can Pain Split but I'm not sure if it will work if your opponent has a sub up.
 
ok hearing teh announcement for the new gold and silver games i decided to buy platinum today and now that im playing it i have a problem saving? I played until you have to select your poke so i could reset and get a atatck boosting nature atleast for the poke so its stronger ingame but when i click save it says saving alot of data dont turn off the power forever.(like 6 min before i turned it off). The game didnt freeze as the clock thing still goes around and around and the music is playing but it just says that forever. *sigh* any help? I also tried saving as soon as i could when the game started and same thing.
 
Try your game a few more times, it may have been a temporary glitch. But if it occurs again and again then you'll have to take it back and tell the people who sold you it that it doesn't work.

I'm afraid it's no glitch. When Platinum says "Saving a lot of data", you're in for a loooooooong wait. A small price to pay for the sheer awesomeness of the game, though.
 
ok i got it to save and i was really happy but then i found out ill have to delete the save data to start over(and pick a male) Now the deletion of the save file is taking WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY longer and still hasnt finished yet. The timer is still going around so i guess it hasnt froze and i dont mind waiting if of course i does eventually delete -.-
 
i would take that back to the shop. It clearly dosn't work. Even if it does delete, its such a hastle if saving takes more than a minute. Also, if things are going wrong now, then i wouldn't be surprised if you lose your file later on.

Get a re-fund.
 
I'm using the SR method to breed a double perfect IV baby, what is the best method to check the babies IVs without having to save? I'm limited on Rare Candies, so if I Candy the baby up to check and it is double 31, I am screwed. Right now I am just leaving them in the day care until she gets checkable. Am I doing this wrong?

I was doing a x/x/31/31/31/x with a x/x/x/x/x/31 and ended up with x/31/x/x/31/31 ... Got a random 31 in the one stat I didn't want, oh well =)
 
In a double battle, if on one side a player has a pokemon with the ability Lightningrod and a pokemon that has just used Follow Me, and the opponent uses Thunderbolt, which pokemon gets hit?
 
If I faint in Pokemon XD, will the Shadow Pokemon I faced retain it's previous Nature and IVs?

Edit: In DPP, Lighting Rod take priority and overrides the Effect of Follow Me
 
If I have a pokemon with 161 speed and give it an Iron Ball, will it have 80 or 81 speed?

If I KO a legendary (eg, Shaymin), and battle it again when it respawns, will it have different stats?
 
Is there a list that has good training places (via Vs.Seeker) for training your pokemons from 1-50 (EXP.Sharing through E4 would be a good choice too, but I like lvling pokes slowly).?
 
If you're playing Diamond / Pearl, between say 15-25, north of Solaceon the lady with a Happiny. It gives off 2xxx after a Lucky Egg boost iirc.
 
While I wouldn't normally ask for this can someone get me a calc? I'm using Metalkid's but it has problems,

I need to know how much a Metagross's Atk+ with 252 and 156 Attack EVs Explosion would do on a Bronzong with 252 HP and 4 Def. THEY ARE ALSO LEVEL 50.
