how do you get a smeargle w/ 4 moves only at lvl 1 with out cheating? I've see it used before in the Video game championships so if it was illegal i'd think they'd catch it.

Sketch a move, use a heart scale to relearn sketch, repeat.
 
Recently, I was really stupid because I forgot I left my Pokemon Diamond in my Levi's Jeans about 2 days ago. As a result, I washed it in my freaking Washing Machine. And, it's not working. I've tried blowing it, putting it near heat energys and sources. Nothing. :/ Although enough of that. For the real question.

Since Pokemon Platinum recently came out should I go for getting the new game or just rebuy Pearl/Diamond?

I've also looked Pokemon Platinum on youtube, and the graphics of some attacks look underdone.

Are there any flaws to Pokemon Platinum?
So is it worth buying Platinum or just rebuying Pearl/Diamond?

I know that most of the answers would have to be opinions, but I really just don't know what to pick. - And I really don't want to buy both either.

i don't have Platinum yet, but i think it's safe to say that it's the way to go.

it has everything D/P had, plus a shitload more content.
 
If you have Pokemon Platinum or Pokemon D/P - Can you battle other people that have Pearl/Diamond or Platinum? [via. WIFI]
In other words.. Platinum = / = D/P ?

Or do you have to have Platinum to battle Platinum, and D/P to battle D/P?

Platinum CAN battle D/P and D/P CAN battle Platinum

Mamoswine
Ability: Snow Cloak
Adamant @ Focus Sash
6 HP/252 Attack/252 Speed
-Stealth Rock
-Earthquake
-Endeavor
-Ice Shard

I've been using it for a while, but the recent decline in Azelf and Aerodactyl leads probably due to the abundance of Metagross leads leaves me wondering if this set is still effective...?

I've seen this lead before, Mamoswine can put a huge dent into Metagross if played right but I would say test it. I think it should still be usable

It is very effective, I can assure you that. It will OHKO non Shuca berry Metagross, and only Mach punch infernape, can stop you from killing one poke via endeavor+ice shard combo, bar ghosts(Mach punch infernape is very UNcommon though, so you should be able to kill atleast 1 poke). I do recommend jolly on it, just to out speed lead heatran, and OHKO with Earthquake(i believe it OHKOes Shuca berry ones, not sure though). Use it, you won't be disapointed.

When you say Mach Punch Infernape you don't mean a LeadApe with Mach Punch do you? Because LeadApe will still KO LeadSwine with Fake Out+Close Combat/Fire Blast/Overheat. But yeah LeadSwine should be fine as long as you don't play LeadApe.

Thanks for the info. A couple of my guesses seem correct. I'll try to find time to test them out as well.

A 4 HP / min Def neutral Heatran (assuming the staandard lead), takes 97.22% - 114.51% from a jolly Mamoswine EQ when factoring in the shuca berry, so that's an almost sure OHKO, though an adamant nature is required to ensure the OHKO.

Mamoswine is a fine lead, the only two leads which force it out are Infernape and Jirachi (which will beat it 60% of the times tanks to iron head flinch rate).
 
I'm wondering, if you already activated the sleep clause, can you yawn a person? Because it really isn't causing him to sleep right?
He can switch out to avoid the yawn?
