What would [pokemon] look like if it were a different type?

Ice / Ghost Skitty
Ghost / Dark Arcanine
Dragon Purugly

I'd like to see one (or more) of these done. =)

btw that ghost Donphan is wonderfully drawn.

Dammit trainers. If you want to become a Pokemon master, let your Rotom possess something more threatening than a bloody lawnmower. >:/

I know the Rotom thing has been slightly overdone, but I was going to draw this anyway so I thought I might as well post it.

COLOR IT WITH A CAMOUFLAGE AURA SO I CAN AVATARIZE IT!!! please and thank you :)

What would Charizard look like if it were a Steel/Fire type?

Like a badass, that's what.

Holy god, nice work... I love how the fire reflects off the steel like that. In fact, I love everything about it! It's really quite surprising how many great artists there are in this forum.

What program did you use to make this?

Nothing but simple Photoshop CS2.

The Smogon Awards are gonna be fucking close this year if art like this continues on throughout the year.

I approve! Though it does look Dark/Steel to me. ;)

Just wrapped another up for no reason other than I could.

Water/Dragon Kyogre:

The glowy rings didn't quite turn out like I wanted, but I like the pic nonetheless. Scampy I suggest opening an art topic, I like your work.

Awesome once again KoA. Man, if Team Aqua got their hands on that Kyogre, they would actually be... you know, threatening.

I'll probably make an art thread eventually, but I need more content before I go and make one. It's been a while since I have drawn stuff. But after seeing all the great art in this thread (as well as the incredible entries in CAP), I guess I got inspired again. :toast:

And yeah, everything I draw has a tenancy to look partially steel type. I guess I need to refine my shading technique more to avoid that problem. Any tips?

Well I think the only thing that seals the "steelish" aspect of them are the solid black shades. However, I'm not sure if your pictures will have the same visual impact without them, so just use them in your favor as part of your established style.

Eh I suppose I could try lol. Might be my last one for a bit though. Gotta juggle my spriting and handdrawn art evenly.

What does a fire Manectric look like? I have no idea but I drew this (I'm no artist :]. It's also based off the generic Manectric pose.)

PS: Real artists, keep it up, I love this thread.

Here's a quickie. Drawing fire with a black pen is kind of difficult, so I tried playing around with the shading on the body to make the flames appear "brighter", sort of. I didn't have a picture of Swampert to go by when I drew this, so if the anatomy is off then that will be why.

Yeah yeah everything I draw looks evil I know lol
