Thanks and I did mean SP.ATK for that, not SP.DEF. I know a Mixed Sweeper version wont hit as hard as a decated Physical or Special sweeper, but can still do decent I would think.

When people talk about that, they're referring to manipulation of the seeds of the random number generator (basically, the hidden and seemingly (though of course, not really) random factors that the game uses to determine what the gender, nature, IV, etc, of a wild Pokemon, a Legendary, or an egg will be) of the games to get the best Pokemon they can when they try to catch a legendary or breed a Pokemon or something like that. What does the term lead mean? I've heard alot about Crobat bat being my lead. And I just need to know what it means. I know about team positions like sweeper and such, I've just never heard a pokemon referred to as a lead before.

Battle against the female Ace Trainer with Ambipom, Chansey, and Rapidash (she is near the top of the sandstorm route) using the Vs. Seeker, with a Lucky Egg attached to your Pokemon. All the talking you have to do in the Pokemon League makes the Elite Four take too long.

Thank you so much! I didn't even know the Lucky Egg existed, as I only recently got back on the Pokemon games. I'll get right to that.

Here's another question: Can someone explain to me how a level 80 Tyranitar in the Battle Hall went first against my 90 Weavile EV trained fully for atk, spe, and a little hp? He used Stone Edge. Did it have to be a quick claw, or is there something I'm missing? It was like my 7th type cleared in a streak, I thought I had it in the bag with an easy OHKO Brick Break, and when he went first AND hit with Stone Edge, I pretty much cried, laughed, and vomited at the same time.

Yeah that's the only thing I can think of

Question: If an attack can score 91.01%-106.81%, what are the chances of it OHKOing? More importantly, what mathematical procedure do you follow?
We'd need information on the attack itself. You have to look at the damage at each random number (85-100). The KO chances are calculated by looking at which random numbers result in a KO and adding up the probabilities of each random number being selected. From the Damage Formula article:
As was already stated in the first section, R is the random number in the formula, which is a number between 85 and 100, but not with uniform probability. This section clarifies which numbers are chosen with which probability:
  • 85, 87, 89, 90, 92, 94, 96 and 98 each have a 7.69% chance of being chosen.
  • 86, 88, 91, 93, 95, 97 and 99 each have a 5.13% chance of being chosen.
  • 100 has only a 2.56% chance of being chosen.
That means that the most improbable damage that you are able to deal is the maximum possible damage.
For example, if an attack only KOs at the random number 100, then the attack only has a 2.56% chance of KOing.

what item would be best for a standard appliance rotom other than leftovers? Can't use any choice items, cause I use Will-O-Wisp

WoW can be used with choice scarf just fine... its not that uncommon. Usually, Leftovers and choice scarf(w/ or w/o WoW) are the 2 best options.

???

Just curious. Whats the point of burning an enemy pokemon (WoW) when you could just attack them? Whats the strategy?

Their attack is halved when they're burned unless they have Guts. It's easier for walls and stuff to stall when the physical side is significantly weaker.

Paralysis and Burn affect stats. Paralysis nerfs speed, and Burn nerfs attack. Also, per-turn and per-switchin damage techniques are very effective, as well obviously they don't take up your turn, and they also just last. Leftovers is good because it's a little of per-turn healing that lasts forever, I mean, that's why it's so much better than Sitrus Berry.

Bottom line, burn nerfs attacks, and per-turn damage combines with your regular attack to more easily KO someone in less time, so they don't have time for defensive maneuvers.

what's better for forretress to use, toxic spikes or spikes?
It depends on your team. Spikes encourages opponents to stay in if they don't want to lose 25% of their HP every switchin, while T-Spikes is better against opponents who tend to stay in for extended periods of time. If your team is aiming to beat offense, use Spikes; if you want to win against stall, use T-Spikes.

Okay, now I officially feel retarded. I seriously cannot find Ace Trainer Ariana. I've tried google magic, I'm pretty sure I've vs seeker'd all the ace trainers on 228, nothing. Is it not in Platinum? I am seriously stumped.

Sorry, never mind... Ariana doesn't have a Chansey Ambipom and Rapidash in platinum, she has claydol sandslash and something else, can't remember, but it's not a chansey ;_;
