So where do I find a trainer with a chansey? A blissey? I wish.
Is there one in platinum? I'm seriously looking everywhere.

Also, if not that, then a list of pokemon by experience yield?
Cheryl has a Blissey, but you can only battle her once a day, and that's assuming that she even shows up at the Battleground. Then again, that place is good for experience no matter what, with everyone there having teams ranging from Lv60-65 (some have a Lv66).

Also for good experience, I find Gyarados to be a pretty nice source. Try the first fisherman on the route to Sunyshore, his final team is a Lv50 Gyarados and a Lv54 one.

If you complete the 5-maid knockout challenge in Mr. Backlot's Mansion, the prize is a battle with a Rich Boy with a Blissey holding a Rare Candy. It's basically too much hassle to reach.

The Battleground, as mentioned, is a good place in general for experience.

There is not a list that I could find, but I know Bulbapedia lists the base EXP. yield of Pokemon on their pages.

I got a Nincada with these IV's: 21/9/31/0/31/9

I've never IV bred or anything, nor have I ever EV trained, Ninjask is going to be the first one I will EV train.

I know these IV's are not good, but when I calculate what Ninjask stats will be at lvl 100 (without EV training), it gives att: 194, and for special attack it even gives something lower than the min- (although it should be the min-, a negative nature and 0 IV's).

Should I breed for a new Nincada? Or did I something wrong with the stat calculation of this one? Thanks.

For a beginner, those are some nice IVs. Not for Nincada though. If only it was a Pineco or something. If it's male, keep it as a father for that kind of thing.

It's a female, but I found out the jolly Ditto I was breeding it with had 30 in speed, so now I'm breeding that Nincada with that Ditto, and try to get a Nincada with 30 speed. Than somehow I'll have to breed that one with something that has good attack IV's.

Thanks for the help anyway =).

magnezone VS metagross

If you made a magnezone to take down steels (mostly concerned with metagross) how would you go about doing so? Remeber that metagross although has 10 more base speed, usually doesn't invest into speed.

I'd also like to use discharge over thunderbolt because of the 30% chance to paralize to slow foes down. If you guys think thunderbolt would work better then I'll go with that.

Well, Discharge is good, as long as you're planning for single battles. I think the best moves for Magnezone to take down Metagross are HP Fire or HP Ground (I'd use HP Fire because it hits Bronzong as well).

Now my question: If I'm breeding Pokemon, if I use the move modifier to get egg moves on the parent, grandparent, etc, of the final result, is the final result considered hacked?

Is 40HP/252SpA/218Spe, Timid a vaild Ev spread for DUal Screen Alakazam with Psychic and Focus Blast?
BTW Alakazam, why do people say Psychic is a bad attacking type? SE hit on Poison is key...

I like duel screen Alakazam with choice band and trick since I can screw over their lead and if they lead with gengar I still 2 hit them regardless because i trick take their sash and finish them off with psychic. The EVs are fine since you can get some hits off with alakazam as well since your not running trick.

On a second hand, Dual-Screens are too defensive for leadingt IMO...can Alakazam be an anti-lead?

Still, why do people say Psychic is a poort offensive type? If anything it's a poor defensive type...also, is Zen Headbutt of any use on Metagross?

Most people think that Psychic is a poor offensive choice just because it does not have a lot of type coverage. Zen headbutt could be of some use on Metagross,(a decent physical STAB option, and flinch is nice) but most people tend to stay away from it as again, it does not cover a whole lot, especially in OU where Metagross reside.

why can I not trade on GTS sometimes? what I mean, is that I'll have the pokemon they want, but it won't let me trade it. :(
Some countries's versions of Platinum don't show the level that's being requested, so your Pokemon is the wrong level.

I say "some countries" because I know for a fact that the Australian version shows levels fine.

BTW, I'm curious: Is Australia the only place with a fully functioning GTS? Any European players willing to check?

Smogons great for Single battle strategy but as of current they dont have any double battle strategies

So my question is: is there any website that has double battle strategies?
(if ive broken a rule i didnt realize it please PM and ill delete this message)

I have a question.

Let's say my Gligar has been burned by Will-O-Wisp, I know that it will cut its Attack. But, what if I Baton Pass it to a Pokemon like Gorebyss, and Gorebyss uses Refresh. Does Gorebyss' Attack stat come back to normal, or is still cut?

Refresh would fail in that situation. Burns don't get Passed so Gorebyss won't be burned and, thus, won't have its physical attack damage cut.
