While I found the concept of the fusion amusing, there is so much you could have done (and not done) to make it better.

For starters, try to stay away from those awful blotches of color you've added all over the fusion. They're very distracting and greatly take away from its overall appeal. For example, on the legs, either make them all orange or all green. However, because Metagross' palette has more shades of blue than Deoxys' palette has shades of orange or green, you'll have to create extra shades yourself.

Also, I see you did a bit of scratching; unfortunately, it makes absolutely no sense. Because Metagross has a wider head than Oddish, you scratched these weird lines that connect to Oddish's head and colored that empty area behind its head brown rather than scratching the parts of the back legs that Metagross' head used to obstruct. I realize that scratching is very difficult for a spriter at your level, but if you had at least tried to scratch those back legs, your fusion would have looked many times better.

Finally, try scratching the connections between Metagross' arms and Oddish's head; right now, they don't even appear to connect in any normal fashion.

That's about all I've got for a basic crit.

Thanks... I tried to imitate the half orange half green style of Deoxys's limbs, but it didn't turn out so well.

The problem with my scratching is I don't know very much about what Metagross looks like aside from the sprite...

Nothing much needs to be said as Headpunch basically covered the whole thing. The legs really need solid coloring.

Been practicing on recoloring -

<sprite>

Those are good. One thing about the black backgroung: some sprites have an outline the same color as the black, so when you fill it with white the sprite loses some of its outline. To fix that (this is what I do, there are probably other ways) take a screenshot of a page with the sprite you want on it by using the print screen key on the upper right side of your keyboard. Then open paint and press control V. That will paste the screenshot (and the sprite) into paint.

Other than that, very nice. And another note: Some fusions will require that you make shades because the base pokemon has more shades than the pokemon you are fusing on to it.

Grumbite (Grumpig + Gabite) also,

Grumpig_Recoloration.png

This is what shiny Grumpig SHOULD look like.

I have decided to make a Grumpig Dex based on people's requests. Right now I'm making a Relicanth+Grumpig.

@Askaninjask: What Uaa said. The giant claw gave me an idea though >:)

@wombat (I want to say wombo so bad every time I type your name): Very nice, very nice. Shiny Grumpig is great.
BTW, when doing a dex, it's best to start with pokemon roughly the same shape (and size) as the dex pokemon. Since you are a beginner spriter, it'll be easier for you.

And for Fuzzy: I found another Mightytales.

Looks pretty good :P Of course, yours is better.

call me wombo if you want. I picked grumpig becuase it's in a relatively common stance. I might do Relipig when I have more experience. Does anyone have any requests for the Grumpig dex?

I'm gonna go ahead and suggest Miltank, it's from the same shape category as Grumpig is. There are many more pokemon on that page that are in the same shape category as Grumpig, so you can pick some from there if you want.

EDIT: I finished something I randomly decided to make: Blissmory.

What a pain it would be with 255/140/135 defenses. And with natural cure and being part steel type, it would be a arguably the best wall in the game.

I did this for fun, which explains why it doesn't look amazing.

C+C.

The Blissmory looks okay, though you can't really do anything really cool with those two if Blissey is the base.

Here's a couple of scratches I did.

Monkey..........Spider

Supposed to be Unown like Pokemonifications of the Nazca lines.

Thanks, I'll start soon.

Well, I'm off of spriting again until I get a new desktop. ._. The stupid thing is gone for good now, after my months of fighting off viruses for its sake. Stupid ungrateful hunk of junk blue screen'd itself after all I've done for it.

@Canti- Why have you left us in the first place, comrade? D=

@1337- Glad to know I'm beginning to fail less at scratching. ^_^; 'Course, I'm not going to get to further improve for another couple weeks....>_<

I don't see the Mightyena in it...? I like the way it's made, though. Where'd you find it?

Aww, I am flattered that mine is "of course" better.

And I'm Fuzzy now? ?_? When did the y come in to play?
