Someone refresh my memory: Can Sleep Talk be used if you are Taunted but still have at least 1 attack move? Or will you be forced to use the attack move while sleeping, therefore not doing anything?

Sleep Talk cannot be selected while Taunted, so you would be forced to choose an attack move and remain sleeping doing nothing.

Thank you kindly. One last question:

Are alternate forms usable online in HGSS? (Rotom-A, etc.)

I heard that if you're on WiFi battling a Plat. to Plat. game cart, then the Rotom formes will be there, instead of normal Rotom. So I suppose that if you're battling with an HG/SS to a Plat. game or Vice-Versa , Rotom forme will be usable over wifi.

This is a *educated* guess. I honestly don't know

Why I can't put Pain Split on my Rotom-F? Has it not been implemented? I've got Super Fang on my Walrein, so it's not that I can't use HGSS moves.
Thanks.

Thanks.

It was an oversight that may or may not be fixed soon (i have no clue). The error was that regular Rotom was given Painspilt but they forgot to give it to its forms.

After the event for Shaymin was announced, I began working on finding spreads for the correct Hidden Power. However, I am unsure which HP to chose. I plan on using it as a Skymin Specs Bulky Water/Blissey Killer on a Rain Team. Therefore, I am looking for a HP that covers usual switch-ins to Skymin (as seed flare takes care of the pokes it is supposed to), and HP Fire is not considered due to the rain. Thanks in advance for the help!

It would be a 4 HP/252 SpA/252 Spe spread. Pretty much the first set straight out of the analysis, I'm just debating coverage types for the last slot.

jartarded, I can't understand what you're saying. If you're going to ask a question, at least make it coherent.

Lovrina, just use the analysis - http://www.smogon.com/dp/pokemon/froslass Froslass has such poor attacking stats and such excellent support options that it's usually not worth packing two attacks.

I figured spikes and destiny bond were good enough support with focus sash--and with 252 evs in Sp.atk, I might as well give Froslass another attacking move... So should I go for double stab or boltbeam?

I would go for the BoltBeam combination, because (I think) you are using Froslasa as a lead. Thunderbolt is far more useful against common leads like for example Metagross

Does anyone know where to get Dive Balls and Repeat Balls? I've looked in every mart and I can't find them!

(I have 16 badges so its definetly not that I don't have enough badges...)

Hey smartguys. pick one!

Ice Beam and Shadow Ball
Ice Beam and Thunderbolt
Froslass as a lead needs only Ice Beam, put Taunt in the last slot. A Shadow Ball or T-bolt wouldn't be powerful enough to dent the opposing lead anyway.

Shadow Ball does more damage than T-bolt to Metagross.

I'm thinking about centering a team around one pokemon, but i'm not sure which one, and i dont want it to be a bad choice, since i'm basically catering the movesets, items, and EVs around it. So what are some good ideas for a central pokemon?

Generally when creating a team around a single Pokemon you pick a Pokemon who sets up. Then you pick the other Pokemon to take out/weaken/status the standard counters for your set-up sweeper, along with probably a lure for those Pokemon, and finally Pokemon to set up the screen/hazard support that your Pokemon needs to set up and sweep.

So, for example, you could create a set based around Dragon Dance Salamence. You'd want to run something like Magnezone to deal with opposing Steel types, particularly those that can avoid Earthquake like Bronzong and Skarmory. You also might want something to lure the above two in, like a Mamoswine. For support, you could throw in something like a Dual Screen Azelf. Choice Banded Flygon gives you a nice Pokemon who can scout counters to Dragons, and if you throw Fire Punch on as his last move you can take out threats like Mamo and other Ice Sharders fairly easily. Etc.

Other commonly-used set-up Pokemon for this kind of team are SD Scizor, NP/SD Infernape, DD Gyarados, DD Tyranitar, NP Azelf (rare these days), SD Lucario, Rock Polish Rhyperior/Aggron, etc.

It's simple multiple choice... I'm not sure how many times I need to ask this, I PERSONALLY want to pick more than one offensive move, analysis or not... Your failure to pick an option I provide time after time is getting on my nerves... I'm pumping 252 evs into Sp.atk and I want my value's worth on this. One or the other PLEASE

A. Ice Beam and Thunderbolt
B. Shadow Ball and Ice Beam

Go with Shadow Ball. You're not hitting anything harder with Thunderbolt anyway besides Gyarados (Spikes would be more important vs bulky waters), whereas at least with Shadow Ball, you can 2HKO Leadapes (as uncommon as they are).

HP Ice is only other move listed in the analysis so you should probably go with that.
