Songs you're sick of hearing

Darkie, that was a horrible troll attempt (I hope).

Although I love his music, I've been hearing too too much of Serj Tankian. Spending hours upon hours on the road listening to the only cd ni your friends van will do that.

Most pop stuff I can handle...some I enjoy. I personally don't hear Fireflies on the radio much so when it's on I'm like wooooooooooooooooooooo Fireflies wooooooooooooo

also "something something all my clothes clothes boys tryin' to touch my nose nose ... tick tock on the floor something something on the floor tonight something something on the floor" is annoying. I don't know anything about who sings it or whatever but.

Hey I like Lady Gaga for comedic reasons! I go from metal to pop to everything between cos I get bored of the same stuff.

Also The Beatles are overrated. So is Led Zep. They are good, but overrated. I don't even like the Beatles that much actually.
 
The reason you're sick of hearing Nickelback should be pretty obvious. They've changed the lyrics to the same song for wikipedia knows how long

There is nothing comedic about Lady Gaga. She is funny how Ciara and that shake song girl (Kelis?) were funny - not a fucking bit.

Led Zeppelin is about as far from overrated as a band can be. I do not personally like Beatles much (I would not rate any song they made higher than a 7/10), but there is no way that it is anything but ridiculous to write off all their songs as annoying. Likewise, writing off more than 1-2 Zeppelin songs would be ridiculous unless you had a roommate who played them nonstop for six straight months or something.

and even if you don't like the beatles you cannot say they suck. They are the most influential and popular band worldwide. saying they suck because you dont like them is ignorant
 
90% of the time whether or not you like "dad rock" bands depends on how much exposure you had to the bands as a kid. its hard to get into led zep and the like if you've been exposed to a lot of other music already because they were more interested in writing individual songs rather than cohesive albums.
 
I actually have a really high tolerance for songs on the radio... I open the store where I work every Saturday and the only station that we get is the local pop station that plays American Top 40 with Ryan Secrest until noon (after noon I can't really listen to the radio anymore because I'm too busy and it's too loud). And even after hearing the same top 40 for what is probably 30 weeks running (it takes a LONG time for songs to get off the top 40 chart), I'm really not that sick of it.

Though I think it may be because when I'm listening to music I'm not just listening, I'm singing along. I think that people who don't enjoy singing along to music may have a lower tolerance to hearing the same song over and over, since singing is in itself an enjoyable activity, regardless of what it is you're singing.

I mean just to give an example, yesterday I sang "Watcha say" by Jason DeRulo like 4 times and I didn't even realize it, because it's fun to sing.

Anyway, I HATE Run This Town by Jay-Z and Rihanna. Half the song is Rihanna going "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

Uh um to you people talking about my "Poker Face" song that is annoying. I guess you can have your own opinions, but hey, popular songs get played quite often. I also can't walk into a shopping mall and hear Michael Jackson's songs like "This is It", "Billie Jean", "Beat It" etc. ever since his death.
 
I'm getting quite annoyed by all that lady gaga stuff on the radio. Also the dutch song "he marloes" from Rinus is getting onto my nerves, but thats because of other reasons
