Even Noctowl and Togetic boast higher Special Attack than Pidgeot lol, so not even close. Neither can do much on the physical side though.

Here's a lead ive been playing around with, and its been very successful at tearing apart those annoying uxie leads that seem t0 have taken the mantle from Froslass as the most common. The annoying thing about uxie is that it can run about four different sets, but this takes care of all of them. With download, it automatically gains a +1 boost as most uxie are def geared. Throw in a free NP thanks to Lum and you reach +3. Dark Pulse is a ohko and now you can wreck havoc on the remaining members of their team. Only trick scarf uxie will stop it, but hey, porygonz isnt about to frown on scarf. This set has 6-0'd a few respected players straight off the bat, without the need to switch out. This is a very rough spread, and one could certainly tweak it to modest nature and a bit of bulk - personal preference.

Just saying, but doesn't that set lose horribly to Ambipom? Since it looks like it wouldn't take Fake Out+Return. I guess you could switch out of course. Also, it appears that Froslass with Sash will still be able to get a layer of spikes up, and then get another one up, or attempt to Destiny Bond you if it predicts that you're going to attack.
However, it does look like it would do very well against any variant of Uxie. I should really try it sometime, since it would definitely help against those Uxie that seem to be much more common now. I just doubt that it will be much use against other leads.
Yeah its designed as a specific anti lead, like the special sharpedo a i ran previously just to head hunt froslass. My team welcomes ambipom leads so i'll switch out to get the ball rolling on supporting su(b)perior. PZ can always return later to sweep.
EDIT: oh yeah it also greatly increases offensive pressure, with uxie gone, opponents don't have that blanket check anymore, putting you in a very advantageous position. Excellent offensive and support poke.
Cress is still broken, annoying, and overcentralizing.
