Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

Yeah, that .89 is what's throwing you off. You're so close to the next second.

Try getting it down to at least .60

But how do I land on the 48th second of that minute then? Or do you mean I only have to modify the first timer and the second has to be intact?

Edit: I'm going to bed now, so I'll say this before I go: thanks.

The total time will tell you what seconds you land, pretty much. If your total time is 109, you'll land on the 49th second of the minute, because 109 seconds is 1 minute, 49 seconds.

If you are very close to the next second (like with your .89), you stand a good chance of hitting the next one. Funny thing is, using a timer set to the same amount of time, I've hit the exact same delay but gotten two different seconds. That's not something you'd expect if you press the button twice in the same amount of time to get the same delay.

Thank you, once again.

In HG im aiming for a delay of 494 with 11 secs. However each time i hit the delay i get 494 with 10 secs.

Shall i just keep trying or do something else like re-calibrate?

does anyone know off the top of their head if obtaining a pokemon in an online trade (not GTS) advances the frame? ie: Got (pokemon) from (trainer)

Do NPCs advance the frame if you pick up the egg in the middle of their movement?
Yes, the call to the RNG has already been made which is why they are moving in the 1st place

Just wait a fraction longer before you start hitting the button, most people use 14 secs but I find it more comfortable to wait and hit 15 secs. If this doesnt appeal to you, you will find the exact same spread on a time with 10 secs that you know you can already get

No it doesn't. Only if you caught or defeated a wild pokemon, anything to do with trainer pokemon are as good as blank pages

If you're using a timer, add one second to the countdown to SR.

If you're looking at a digal clock and SRing/button mashing when the clock rolls over to the next minute, wait until it goes to one second past the new minute.

That should fix the seconds problem since the seconds are the number of seconds the DS's internal clock past the current minute when you enter the game world.

So when using the RNG Reporter, do you need to have your SID at all times? and if so, could someone help me find my SID? I haven't been able to check because my ARDS Just Died last night.

These guides are gibberish to me, If anyone wants to help me out, please do so, I'm going to be on until 3:00 PM CST

ok, thanks. I'm going to try and figure this out now.

EDIT 1: So, I've synched my external clock and DS. would that mean that once i find all of my information for now, it would be best for me to find all of the information depending on my DS Clock's current state?

Weird. I found a new saved frame where the two cowgirls on screen don't move for a while, and I still hit a frame higher than I want (even). I know there are other NPCs in the zone, but whenever I switch over to another seed I found, and hit the right delay, I always land on odd-which is the opposite of what I needed (first case I needed odd, landed on even, second case needed even, landed on odd). I think my DS is telling me not to RNG anymore, lol.

Blasphemy, that has to be the single most annoying thing about RNG breeding sometimes. I'm not 100 percent sure what causes it, and I don't think anyone else does either, but what you should do is simply resave. Sometimes it solves the problem.

Sometimes, when I look for EGG IV Spreads, I find spreads like these:
31/A/31/A/31/31
How is this possible? I thought always 3 Stats will be inherited?

Not always; anywhere between 1-3 stats can be inherited. Ususally 3, but not always.

Anyone know of a Pokemon Center with no moving NPCs? The Pichu event makes me want to abuse for the Wondercards I never touched.

If you mean pokemart then in DPPt there's a bunch on them with only one moving NPC listed in the how to abuse perfect wondercard pokemon article but none with no moving in NPCs in HG/SS the one in Cerulean has no moving NPCs

I'm here again cause after reading a lot of articles about RNG in Smogon, i'm a bit confused.

My first question: It is possible to use the RNG abuse on HG/SS just as we do in DPPt?
Second: Are shiny pokemon the only way to obtain your SID?
And finally: Are RNG pokemon allowed in Wi-Fi battles and Official Tournaments?

Thanks in advance!
