Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

yes, thankyou i had actually done all that (DPPt Egg PID normal) as it... i already have an egg in daycare as modest natured, non-shiny, ability 1... im now trying to get IV egg abuse... when i click generate it (after restarting after saving infront of daycare guy) it tell something about coin and then percentages... it not exacally telling me the iv spread, so how do i pull that up?

No, it's not DPPt Egg PID, it says Breeding (DPPt). Make sure you use that one.

i have another question about splits,
eventually will splits always happen?
Or is it sometimes impossible for them to occur?
 
just to be sure,
the fact that i just spent 10 hours trying to get my perfect kingdra and failed was because i was unlucky?
not because it is impossible?
 
Quick question:

Assuming the first page of my journal looks like this
" Started from Solaceon"

And the other page look like this
"xxxxx
xxxxx
Caught Pikachu (Day)"

Should I flip it once to get the starting frame obtained during calibration?
(While doing frame calibration, the first page have the caught/defeated message")

Im alittle confused by your question but...
If you mean will it matter if the front page has a caught/defeated pokemon as the first page during calibration, then no it wont. It will just add 2 to your Egg Frame and do not count it as a flip because it is already coutned into the Egg Frame.
 
When I did frame calibration, the first page have the Capture message

Now the first page don't, I flip the journal to a page that states you caught/defeated a poke ONCE. Is this same as having the message in the first page?

Coz people say the message in the first page increase the frame by two

Caught/defeated pokemon on any page will always advance the RNG by 2
 
Anyone with a modified copy of reporter that can give me a Egg PID seed with Impish Ability 1 (any gender) on frame 1?

EDIT: Or better yet, can someone link to a version of Reporter or ShinyFinder that has been modified for HG/SS use?

BUT I need to be able to search for non shiny eggs too so if anyone can help with the seed I requested.... You could change the ID/SID in the program to a different one then you have, and then the Egg would also hatch normal (non-shiny) :toast:

Yeh I realise that, but in theory it only giving me 1 result for 8192 possible, therefore its giving me akward delays.

Anyways I decided to get off my lazy ass and figure it out myself, using the simple seed generator with todays date, my typical delay, and changing the time by 1 min each time I found one :)
 
Pokeradar Abuse Problems

I'm having trouble hitting my target seed / time for pokeradar abuse. I wouldn't be fazed if my delay were off a bit, but instead my seconds are off by at least 2-3 each time. It's not just behind either - sometimes it's ahead 2-3 seconds.

I should note that I'm using Emloop to attempt to reach higher delays to get a flawless shiny ditto (and yes I know LightningFusion has a redis one but I want to try getting one on my own). I've had problems with having to adjust for Emloop before, so it may just be that.

My info:
Diamond Trainer ID: 47231 / SID: 02816
Target PID: 6937DA48 (MODEST)
Seed: 0A01082E
Frame: 122
Syncher: Modest Abra

Target Time: 3/2/2010 - 1:04:00 (Delay: 2084)
Clock Set Time: 1:03:00
Reset Time: 1:03:25.27 (using Emloop)
Delay: 34.73 sec.s (also using Emloop)

When I start the game, I'm in the middle of the field just outside of Canalave City. I'm pretty sure I've battled all the trainers. Help? Why are my seconds so off? I don't think I've hit my seed even once...
 
Need some help with Radar abuse. As far as I know, there isn't a guide to radar IV abusing, so could someone please quickly explain what is different/same between regular Method J abuse and Radar RNG abuse?
 
So after I generate times, do I subtract my calibration time to get into the game world or is the time given when I should start the game entirely? I'm assuming that I should subtract and can't seem to find anything specifically saying.

EDIT: Gah I'm blind, ignore this please!

EDIT 2: One other question, does the dark fog by Cresselia count as a weather effect and would change the coin flips?
 
Okay even with the guide I find this invariably confusing. Here is what I am trying to land on:
SEED: 8b06025f
TARGET FRAME: 1347

Okay, so I have successfully landed on the seed and used the pokéradar to start my chain for Dunsparce. I've caught about three Dunsparce. After I caught the third one, four patches of grass shook (so the frame was advanced by 10). I used IV check to determine the frame the last Dunsparce was caught on, and it appears I caught it on frame 256. So does that mean I'm on frame 266 because the four patches advanced the RNG by 10?
 
Yes, but that 266 is taken care of in the calculation
Target - Actual - Radar Advancement - Steps - 6

So the only thing you need from that Dunsparce is its actual frame
