Use Aura Spere, Shadow Ball/Dark Pulse, Vacuum Wave (if you have it), and Dragon Pulse. If you don't have Vacuum Wave, Close Combat can be useful to KO Blissey or Flash Cannon can be used to hit Gliscor. Dragon Pulse will still take out Salamence and Kingdra. Hidden Power is only recommended in the analysis because it hits other things.

the people I play wifi with hate blissey so much they banned her, so she's not an issue. right now I have agility, aura sphere, and dark pulse.

I have a few questions for you all.
A. Which Pokémon has the highest Attack compared to it's Special Attack? (My guess is Rhyperior)
B. Which Pokémon has the highest Special Attack compared to it's Attack? (My guess is Alakazam)
C. Which move can be learned by the largest amount of different Pokémon? (My guess is Earthquake)
Thanks in advance

I'm not sure about the first two (though Chansey might be a contender for B, with only 5 base attack) but the answer to C is Hidden Power, available to nearly any pokemon that can learn TM moves (the complete list of those who can't learn it should be :Weedle, Caterpie, Kakuna, Metapod, Magikarp, Ditto, Wobbufett, Wynaut, Wurmple, Silcoon, Cascoon, Beldum, Kricketot). There might be a couple of others, but that one for sure.

Can exclusive moves from event pokemon be used on Shoddy Battle?
More specifically, the Flare Blitz that Entei is getting.
Yes, however, not until they're actually released and it's actually possible for people to have them. The Flare Blitz Entei won't actually be available for a couple of months yet, so it probably won't be put into the Shoddy Battle server until then, especially since we don't know all of the details yet (because they're shiny, all of the Beasts will have a set nature, and we don't know what those natures are yet).

Bonsly has the highest Atk:SpAtk ratio (80:10) while Blissey has the highest SpAtk:Atk ratio (75:10). To put that into perspective, for Rhyperior (SpA = 55) to have the same ratio as Bonsly, it would need 440 base Attack.

EDIT: I was solely looking at base stats. I guess I interpretted the question wrong.

Base stats don't bear a simple multiplicative relationship to actual stats.

At level 100, and taking maximum possible for both stats (even though they cannot be obtained simultaneously). In all cases I'll do higher figure / lower figure.

Rhyperior: 1.82
Alakazam: 1.86

Bonsly: 2.18
Blissey: 2.1

Cranidos: 2.20
Abra: 2.23

Of course, you may get different results again if you did maximum possible attack / minimum possible special attack.

Note the relationships are nowhere near 8:1. Even if you do do max possible/min possible, they tend to be about 4-5:1

Hidden Power is the most learnt move. It's learnt by all Pokemon that can learn TMs, Smeargle of course, and additionally learnt by Unown - which isn't the case for other TMs that are learnable by all Pokemon that can learn TMs. The move that can be USED by most Pokemon, however, is Struggle, usable by all.

The only real issue that you will encounter with using a neutral nature 100 base Scarfer is the possibility of being outrun by Dragon Dance Jolly Salamence (this of course is if you are playing OU) and automatically losing to max Speed Scarf Flygon and Jirachi. I can't really think of anything else. In my opinion, its pretty much always better to go max Speed for the chance to at least tie with other base 100s.

If you are playing UU, there aren't enough common base 100s in the tier for it to be a big issue. I'm sure you would be fine with running a neutral Speed nature. You might lose to the odd max Speed Scarf Moltres, though.

Thank you to all who answered my previous questions, much appreciated.

Now in preparation for Heart Gold and Soul Silver I bought Pokemon Platinum a second time, I sold my first one lol.
Anyways I bought Platinum for three reasons which would be the Draco Meteor Jirachi Game Stop event, the Pikachu colored Pichu WiFi download, and to trade pokemon and items from my Platinum game to my Soul Silver game... 3 year old DS died on me yesterday so after work tomorrow I'm buying a DSi and a couple weeks later I am picking up my reserved Burgundy DSi XL, heh.
To get to the point I have a few questions regarding Soul Silver and it's legendary Pokemon.

1.) How can I catch a legendary Pokemon in Soul Silver that has very good IVs? Is there a way to bug the game or something before interacting with the legendary to make it so it has good IVs? Or do I have to just rely on luck, capture the Pokemon, trade the Pokemon to my Platinum game and use the IV checker hack to see what I ended up with. I think I read somewhere that RNG is probably what I am looking for to up the chances of having my legendary Pokemon get excellent IVs but does the current RNG IV system thing work the same way in Soul Silver like it does Platinum?

2a.) Would it be frowned upon if I used AR on Platinum to receive the Azure Flute since the Arceus event is no longer around? Only reason I would do this would be to trade the Arceus over to Soul Silver so that I can do the Cynthia event and pick either my level 1 Dialga, Palkai, or Giratina. Other then that I have no use for the Arceus and would immediately release the Arceus after choosing my legendary after talking to Cynthia.

* DISREGARD QUESTION 2b AND 2c IF THE ARCEUS EVENT HAS NOT HIT US YET - Although I am assuming it has hit by now

2b.) Is it against the rules of legitimacy to use the AR code for the azure flute? Keep in mind after I unlock the event in Soul Silver I would release the Arceus no problem.

2c.) Would there be anyway to find out if I used the AR code for azure flute to get the lv 1 legendary in Soul Silver even after I release Arceus?

* DISREGARD QUESTION 2b AND 2c IF THE ARCEUS EVENT HAS NOT HIT US YET - Although I am assuming it has hit by now *

3.) Basically the same question as the first question, but after trading Pikachu colored Pichu over to Soul Silver, is there a way to RNG the Notched Ear Pichu event or whatever to make it so that it has good IVs? Is there a way to RNG roaming legends in Soul Silver or is that just not possible/has not been figured out yet?

4.) If the RNG system stays the same in Soul Silver as it was Platinum, can someone please show me a link to a good guide?

:>

I'm sure this is a dumb question but anyways:

Are you only able to change levels of your pokemon when battling friends if your online. For example if your not near a wifi area can you just not change your level?

I'm not quite sure what you mean, but you can't just randomly adjust your level. You have to level up with Rare Candy or gain EXP etc.

Question

With Sleep Clause in effect, what is the proc chance for effect spore if already put a Pokemon asleep? Since it is normally 30% for one of three statuses (sleep, paralysis, and poison), would it be 20% for the remaining two or 15% each?

I believe Effect Spore is exempt from the Sleep Clause.

In DPPt, autolevelling is indeed only available on WiFi, not on local wireless battles. I'm not sure if they changed it in HGSS.

The Azure Flute has not yet been released, anywhere. I'm not sure if Azure Flute Arceus will unlock the event, or if it has to be different sorts of Arceus, like the TRU one or the UK GAME one.

Where can you quickly train with VS Seeker for high-level EXP. Points in Platinum? (Like the lady with the Chansey on route 228 in DP.) DON'T say Elite 4; that takes too long.
