Scarfed it makes a good revenge killer of sorts. I like to use it on my wifi team sometimes. You woul think pure power + fighting type would be broken, but no, give to a specially based fighting type, of course. What made Medicham so good in Advance, and is it nearly as much a thread in D/P/Pt? Is there any hope?
That's a move relearner, not move tutor. He only teaches you moves that your Pokémon gets by leveling up that you have already forgotten. I'm having difficulties remembering or finding where you get Salamence to learn those moves thoughWhy won't the move tutor in pastoria teach my salamence outrage or draco meteor in Platinum?

FYI, it's completely legit. If you don't have anything helpful to say, fuck off.
EDIT: just figured out why from someone else. Thanks anyways
That's normal. Remember that shininess is based on your ID and SID. Your SS obviously doesn't have the same ID/SID as the game you got the eggs on. The reverse of this is how people get shiny Manaphies.Uhh... I just got my Soul Silver (english) cartridge, and happily traded over the 6 RNG'ed shiny pokemon (in eggs) there. I just hatched my Sandshrew (when it came out of the egg, it was the shiny version with the green color). However in a wild battle, my Sandshrew shows up as a regular Sandshrew. Is this a bug..??
EDIT : wtf.. my Totodile just hatched too and showed up as shiny when it came out. On summary it's a regular blue Totodile.. =/
Why won't the move tutor in pastoria teach my salamence outrage or draco meteor in Platinum?
It doesn't gain any EVs or anything of course, but the Pokemon you transfer over does gain some experience. However, a Pokemon can only gain up to one level during the time while it's in the Pokewalker. After that, it won't gain any more experience in the Pokewalker until you transfer it back to the game and send it back again. So, it's not a very good way of leveling up Pokemon, due to that 1-level-per-session restriction. So as everyone knows tomorrow is the release date for the U.S. versions of Pokemon HeartGold & SoulSilver. Now, the thing I've been wondering about most is the PokeWalker. I've read things about it here and there and wonder what it really does/what's its main purpose to us competitive players? I've read in a few articles saying that the more you walk the more "Watts" it gains, and your Pokemon pick up items and whatnot. But that's not what I care for, what I care for is do my Pokemon gain any type of stats or EXP when transferred to the PokeWalker? Clearly my first thought of it is since I'm walking it'd be like the real life version of walking in-game to raise EXP for the Pokemon (but that's in the Daycare, though).
Now that I got through all that, the main question is this: does my Pokemon (whatever Pokemon I put into the PokeWalker) gain any EXP points when I walk with the PokeWalker? Clearly that's what I'm thinking it does, but I could be wrong and I could be wasting my Sunday morning waking up early to go get something that's completely useless to competitive play or any form of helping my Pokemon out to reach their competitive statistic outcome.

Probably cantab. But we do know that there is a Japan only area that only has Pikachus in it which allows you to get a Surfing and Flying Pikachu, I know you can get Surfing Pikachu by other means but I think Flying Pikachu is exclusiveSome Pokemon can be caught in the PokeWalker. I'm not sure if there are any exclusives.
Would it be possible to put the Pokewalker on a pendulum or something, so it racks up steps even when you're sitting on your arse.
Always wait until you've unlocked whatever it is the event Pokémon is meant to be able to unlock before you level it up or EV train it or teach it new movesI got the event jirachi that unlocks something for the pokewalker in HG/SS. I finally got it from the deliveryman with an impish nature with good ivs. I was planning on making it a wish support jirachi. My question: Does the jirachi need to know the special Draco Meteor move to unlock the new pokewalker route? I checked and i found that it cannot remember Draco meteor once its deleted. So is this a stupid thing to do? To EV train an event pokemon at all?
It could, I'm not saying it will but there's always a chance that it could, and it's better to be safe than sorry, especially when getting a good new area for your Pokéwalker or a Spiky Eared Pichu, but I think everybody messed with their Arceus but that's still going to give people a level 1 legendary dragon of their choiceWhy? Will it prevent me from getting the thing it unlocks?
