NO! THIS HAS BEEN ASKED SO MANY TIMES ALREADY!

Suicune is encountered on Route 25 in Kanto after you go up to it and talk to it. ONLY RAIKOU (frame 1) AND ENTEI (frame 6) ARE WANDERING! If Suicune was a wanderer then you would be able to encounter it in Johto, in the wild, not talk to it in Kanto. As for RNG advances, use steps/radio taps/talking to lead pokemon.
 
Okay, I am trying to RNG for Raikou in HGSS right after the event in Burnt Tower. I have not sent the dogs away yet, and since I am not searching for a shiny, I have no way of verifying if I hit things right unless I catch Raikou....

EXCEPT for what pehu posted earlier. I am going to try Sweet Scenting right after releasing the dogs to check my seed.

OK, so this is what I need help with:

I want this spread for Raikou:

Timid: 31 Hp / 2 Atk / 31 Def / 30 SpA / 31 SpD / 31 Spe
Hidden Power Grass

I tried finding the seed necessary for this spread using Method 1 in RNG reporter... but I didn't find anything. How do I find the seed I need for this spread?

Also, since Raikou starts on frame 1, there is no need for me to do any frame advancement upon starting the game, correct? I only need to get the correct time/delay?

SO this is the really janky part... checking to see if I hit my seed.

So, pehu said I could check using sweet scent. I would do this immediately after releasing the dogs, correct?

Since Raikou is frame 1 and Entei is frame 6, what frame will I be at after using sweet scent? Would it be 8, since using SS ups the frame by 2? Or if the RNG is called twice to determine where the dogs end up on the routes, it would be 10, correct?

I think pehu said before that it would be 13 or 15 and I don't understand what he meant.

Alright..Relax. This is a help thread isnt it? And I was asking for help. No need to snap at me.
 
Well, first of all, you really need to find that spread in RNG Reporter. I can't help you there, since I can't use RNG Reporter here at work. No .NET Framework.

Anyway, Raikou is frame 1, but that only means that if you enter the game and release him, he'll be the spread from frame 1. But your Hidden Power Grass Spread will say the frame you need to hit to get it. So, you'll get that frame number, subtract Raikou's starting frame (1), and the result of that math operation you'll have to advance using the radio.

After that, the frame is advanced by 5, to determine Entei's spread. And then, I SUPPOSE the game will advance the frame by 5 after Entei (since Raikou advanced the frame by 5, it's only reasonable to expect Entei to do the same. That's where you should try and see what happens).

So, if you want to see if this is true or not, you should save there, soft-reset and release the dogs immediately. Then, sweet scent, and find out the seed you got.

Use that seed, search for the method K pokes, and try to find the frame of the poke you caught. Take note of the Method K frame and the Actual frame for that line. And then post it here, so others can help you research.

RAIKOU & ENTEI'S MONSTER FRAMES ARE 1 & 6 RESPECTIVELY. TO RNG YOU MUST ADVANCE THE FRAME TO THE TARGET YOU WOULD HAVE CALCULATED EARLIER.

RNG advances = Target Frame - Monster Frame - Number of Wandering Pokémon

A lot of people are attempting to RNG on their DS for HG/SS. Personally I do it on my
computer. THE REASON WHY IS THAT I CAN CHECK WHAT FRAME I AM ON EASILY. I THINK IT WOULD
BE BETTER IF A BETA GUIDE WAS PUT UP WARNING PLAYERS THAT LUCK MANIPULATION
IN HG/SS IS FAR MORE DIFFICULT THAN IN DPPt.
 
not by coin flipping obviously, but you can by catching a wild pokemon and then finding your frame that way too. it is much harder to check delays in HG/SS which is why i prefer to rng in platinum. also, i think i should mention how you can use desmume to check your delay if you are using a rom. but i don't think you are.

I never used pokewalker so question: Will any pokemon I catch in Pokewalker be in a Pokeball or is it possible to catch it in different balls as well?

Also: I know no methods yet but is there the possibility to RNG it?

For the sake of the forum rules I cannot go into detail but basically I transfer the save from a legit cartidge to the computer, RNG in an emulator then transfer the save back to the cartridge. That way I can see what frame I am am on and how actions such as walking, turning, talking to pokemon, radio tuning work, etc.

If found the spread I want on this seed: 504025a

Ok, super bad news... the spread is on frame 4055.

Using the radio would take WAAAY too long, and using other methods like pokemon talking is unreliable and would still take a loooong time.

Are there any usable spreads that are:
Nature: Timid
Hidden Power: Grass

AND that have a relatively low frame..around 400 tops?

There are some you can use. However, most of them require that you can hit a high delay that year changing won't place in your normal range. If you can RNG for high delays without year changing (I can, its not that difficult, use pikatimer and try it sometime), here are some:
31/28/31/30/31/31 (Seed: db0508fb Frame: 63) HP GRASS 68
30/1/31/30/31/31 (Seed: 730d048c Frame: 26) HP GRASS 68
31/17/30/30/31/31 (Seed: 900b060f Frame: 28) HP GRASS 68
30/18/31/30/31/31 (Seed: 54170460 Frame: 110) HP GRASS 70
All the frames are Method 1 Frames and all spreads are Timid nature. I used Wichu's program to find these quickly.

It's military time, AKA the hours go from 0-23 (13 being 1 PM, 14 being 2 PM, etc).
For IV spreads, you can use Wichu's RNG from the front page. It takes about 4-5 minutes, but it works great.
