Are there any wandering NPC's by Sudowoodo? If so how do I deal with that?
There is one NPC, but I've never seen him move.

I just thought of something, is it impossible to RNG a shiny Sudowoodo without an AR?
I guess, I tried to calibrate my delay and got 492 consecutively 5 timesDid someone say that the base HG/SS delay was about 490? I calibrated a little bit, and I got something along the lines of: 484, 486, 488
.
OK, hopefully this is my last post before I actually TRY to go for Raikou. Sorry if this is mudding up the forums.
I want to increase my frame to 26, but the radio detuning sounds kinda sketch... does the 128 steps trick still work? Or, since the burnt tower contains pokemon, would each step or turn = 1 advancement in frame? That would make everything SO much easier.
Also, when I use sweet scent to check my seed... if I have the correct seed for Raikou, the only thing that will be different will be the frame, correct? If that is true, then if I check the Sweet Scent pokemon's seed using RNG Finder, it should be the same as Raikou's correct?
I believe there are wild pokemon in that area and yes, the 128 step trick does work. I recommend bringing in a master ball and catching raikou immediately and then checking its IVs. Unless you want it in a certain Pokeball, thats the easiest way to ensure that you got the Raikou you wanted.
entei is frame 6 and when I did mine I counted that step, doesn't make to big a differenceI have a question about the Monster Frames of the beasts. I know Entei is on frame 5, but does that count the one step you take forward? or will it really have a frame of 6?
So I would be better off using the radio detuning advancement?
Kyogre and Mewtwo will probably be the easiest to do. I found a flawless (except in attack) spread Modest and Timid for them in which you can get them at frame 3 with the appropriate syncher (Method K). Also, why is the research thread suddenly dead even though the English games are out? We need more research to fully determine how HGSS works so that we may make a tutorial for RNG'ing in it.That's a good question. Others have claimed that the radio advances the RNG in a consistent manner, however when I did the same thing it did not advance as I had hoped it would. Perhaps the HG/SS RNG was designed to be a lot more difficult to manipulate than the DPPt one. Unless you are using an emulator/save states, RNG'ing will be very difficult.
in an area with wild pokemon taking steps is very inconsistent and may increase the frame by 1,2, 3 or maybe more, the 128 step advancement still holdswhen in a cave... walking in areas with wild pokemon in HG/SS... does every step advance the Frame by 1? or is it only every 128 steps advance it by the number of pokes you have?
it does you'll also notice that your delay is less than it was in plaitnumdoes the game load faster in HG/SS than in Plat? or is it just my clock? I keep getting 13 seconds where in Plat I got 14... I just don't want to have realized I screwed up later... and re-calibrate my seconds and Delay
it does you'll also notice that your delay is less than it was in plaitnum
Here is a little program I made to make RNG abusing with HG/SS on the DeSmuME emulator a little more easier, but its not just limited to HG/SS. Basically it tells you where the seeds are in RAM and you can use that information to determine your current frame.

It was compiled with VS2010 RC1, so you may need to update to .NET 4.0

Thank you Kazo. I watched your videos and I wondered where I could get that program and now I know :DHere is a little program I made to make RNG abusing with HG/SS on the DeSmuME emulator a little more easier, but its not just limited to HG/SS. 1. 11 secs is way to quick for any game to boot up, you should be aiming for 14-15 secs depending on your personal cartOk, I tried my first RNG run, and failed miserably. I have 3 doubts about what I did.
1. I found my target time, which was 14:01:11, so I set my clock to 13:59:00. At 14:01:00 I reset my game. Was I doing anything wrong?
2. According to Smogon, the first journal page with caught/defeated pokemon doesn't count as a flip. But BearsFan092's video says it does. Who is right?
3. I followed BearsFan092's journal flips, and my flips came to 5. I went back and fourth to the first page (which said caught pokemon) 4 times. Do the other pages that don't have caught/defeated pokemon on them count as flips?
Help please?
