I'm sorry if I sound stupid, but what are these credits that everyone is talking about in Trade Threads?
And how do I get them?

Generally when someone wins a giveaway or does a favor for the thread owner, the owner will owe the person something in return, so they use credits. Credits can usually be exchanged for pokemon from the thread in some way but it's different depending on the owner.

In HGSS you can give your mom money to spend. The list of things she might buy includes a choice scarf, silk scarf, muscle band and a crap-load of berries. I've gotten all the non-berry items once, and that's it. Just tons and tons of berries. Is each game limited to one choice scarf?

Also, I can't seem to find Lt. Surge to get his phone number. I go to the power plant between 9-11, knock out Zapdos, leave and come back and regardless of whether there's a pikachu in my party or not he's never there. I tried yesterday and today...

What happens if a double switch happens, but the faster pokemon switched to something like a Dugtrio? Would the second switch happen or would it be negated by Arena Trap?
The switch would still happen, as no opposing Pokemon had Arena Trap as the new Pokemon was chosen.

Arena Trap reads, "An opposing Pokemon cannot switch ... unless it has Levitate or its current type includes Flying." My glossary includes the following: "If a Pokémon 'cannot switch', the 'Pokémon' command will fail if that Pokémon tries to change to a different active Pokémon." The "Pokemon" command only checks whether the current opponents have Arena Trap, and only as commands are being chosen. Arena Trap has no effect at any other time.

Exactly how long does Pokérus last in D/P/Pt? I know that the double EV gain lasts forever, but I'm wondering how long it is "contagious" (where you see the PKRS symbol, rather than the yellow circle).

Pokèrus last for about two days, but the period of time can vary...
If you transfer the pokèmon infected into a game where the time system is absent, the infection will last untill traded back to another version with a time system. You can also keep the infected pokèmon in your pc BOX too.
When the pokèmon show the yellow circle,it means that the pokèrus disappeared.

I finally got to Pal Parking a Pokemon over from my Emerald to check my SID so that I can RNG for a Shiny Pokemon and my earliest frame is at 1:43:55. I'm fairly new to RNGing so I'm wondering why is it that people have SRed for a Method 1 Pokemon (ya it took like over 200 tries) but they didn't have to wait an hour and 43 minute to hit their frame. All they do is SR and press A over and over. So I guess my question is why is it that they can get a shiny with SRing without having to hit a certain frame. Or are the ID/SID I got bad luck and caused be to have to wait that long for my first shiny frame?

Sorry if I'm not making sense hope someone can answer this.

I was wondering if the old abilities from Diamond/Pearl transfer to HeartGold/SoulSilver (e.g. Ambipom's Technician) since they have been replaced with different ones. So, if I were to transfer over my Ambipom with Technician over to HG/SS would he still have Technician or would it be substituted with Run Away/Pickup?

What? No, the abilities in HG/SS are just the same as they were in DPPt, so there's no chance of that.

Minor question, can you trade over the kurtballs to platinum? I would like heavy balls for the regi's.

I doubt it since if you catch a Pokemon in HGSS with a Kurt Ball and trade it to DPPt, it will appear to have been caught in a Poke Ball until you trade it back to HGSS.

Is there an equivalent RNG method for HG/SS? Obviously the Poketch and the journal are no longer included, so is there any other way to easily progress the RNG manually?

hmmmmmmm somthin odd is happining with my pokewalker, when i try bringing my pupitar back from it, it comes back to my game but it also stays on the pokewalker so far i have about 20 of the same pupitar. did this happen to anybody else?

So the data for that particular kurtball is saved on the pokemon. So if I trade it to PDPt, it will appear is a normal pokeball. If I that restart my soulsilver and trade it back it'll be in a kurtball again? Or does that only work in the soulsilver you actually caught it in (or traded directly to another game that supports the kurtballs)?
