Oh my god i can't believe what they have done: THEY DISCARDED ITALY AS USUAL!

I'm so pissed off, they even did the announce in italian!
I was willing to get a game i didn't want to buy, i've awaited for so long the dates and the locations, i even postponed my plans for the easter holidays to sell my older games ONLY TO GET SLAPPED IN THE FACE.
But what makes me more angry is that SPAIN got the event instead! And it doesn't help that i had lost by a ridiculously lucky spanish at paris last year (and that cost me A LOT).

Seriously, FUCK YOU TPCi. I AM NOT GOING TO BEAR THIS ANYMORE!

seriously, this post makes me laugh. your slowking missed a fire blast in the first turn. that's all, i'd have won anyways.

I'm gonna bring you some info. Last's year's spanish """"""qualifier""""" was announced 6 days before it took place and more than 1000 people showed up. It's more fair a qualifier here than in Italy =P

And stop talking about me, the kind of things that you say (ie the sentence in bold) are annoying. Prepare yourself more this year and stop complaining. You lost because you had to.

OnTopic: It's ridiculous the way TPCi do this whole thing in Europe. No companion, only 2 free flights for qualifier, 256 entrys.... etc

I just want to point out to people complaining that the only midwest stop is nats, that the LCQ at nats will have more spots for nats than any regional, so really, if you live around there you are pretty lucky. Don't complain.

On the other hand, we west-coasters are screwed when it comes to qualifiers...

Oh, wait...

ahahahahaha

I've never been so happy to be here except for every other time that I have been.

I'm not one of the ones complaining, as I'm just grateful they removed the stupid lottery system from last year. I should note, however, that I do still have to drive 10 hours to make it to Indy =/

Super pumped for this! I'm starting to work on my team now, but I am glad I have 2 months to finish it =D Hopefully I can get this RNG thing down easily...

Let me know how luck you are with RNGing. I may end up doing that as well.

It was actually my brother who played not me since we only had one Platinum version. He was in the Top 8 and would have made the nationals if he won a critical speed tie near the end of his last match.

Aaah, cool. That sucks about him losing! I lost my third match to a dude who didn't know what EV training was thanks to some hax.

So I take it you'll both be playing this year?

I will most likely attend the Newark one. It's the closest to me, real bummed there isn't one in Philadelphia this year tho..

That's a really good point.

You know what I think is hilarious about the Last Chance Qualifier? There's one at Nationals and Worlds. Meaning it's not actually the last chance. This means a rich player can just fly over to Hawaii, and get in at the LCQ and advance further in the VGC than a player with no travel money who won their Regional Championship, but didn't place at Nationals.

I feel totally intimidated about playing at the LCQ. It's the closest stop (Georgia gets second place, but I don't even wanna think how far that is from Louisville). I'd love to try to hang out with some people, but I doubt my team is gonna be good enough to get into the top 16 for Nationals. It seems like there's gonna be so many good players there, and I haven't practiced with my team on NBS or anything.

I'd love to try to go to Georgia, though, but I don't think anything's gonna work out.

I say Pokemon because there is a chance that you win a free trip to Tokyo, an nice trophy, and a free DSi. But Prom is also an option if you really have something special planned and you have someone to go with.....It depends on the situation.

yo
we don't like canadians invading our turf in seattle.

allow me to destroy you.

i will see you there in my home state. prepare for battle.

Go. To. Prom. You will have so much fun, go live life. Video Games will wait for you, getting laid/drunk and having a great time with your friends won't.

Pfft, prom is overrated.

Never went to either of mine. Never cared - I was too cheap to get a ticket, suit, and I was also too lazy to get a date. I didn't see the point either, since I knew I was never going to see my classmates after graduating.

Justin - do whatever you feel like doing. I'd say Pokemon, but that's just me; high school friendships likely won't be there after you graduate...

If anyone is going to seattle, do me a favor and BEAT HER! I do NOT want to be forced into doing this:

<drcossack> and Yeti, if by some miracle you win seattle, I will become a fan of the Yankees.

Well I went, and it was one of the most fun times in my life. How can you say its overrated if you never went! You may never see many of your classmates again, but its still a load of fun. Plus, go with a close knit group that you know you'll keep in contact with. Its a good time, I would go to Prom.

hrm. To each his own I guess. Anyway. Back to topic.

Agreed, Agreed.

I'll be going to the Indy tourney. I don't anticipate getting out of the 1st round with all the talent showing up this year, but it should be a good time nonetheless. I'm still pissed after my loss in the Quarterfinals of Journey Across America...Thunder Crit and fully Paralyzed on my Kyogre...I thought I was gonna take it all the way!

This one, I am sure I will not be taking all the way. But maybe I can stumble into some luck and ruin someone else's tourney chances!
