I assume you mean A216026A?I added my Emerald cardridge, and still my seed now is A2160269 even when I'm trying to hit 216026A. Anyone had problems with this?
Beginning, Example: SID 1234, its 01234i asked someone to look for my SID, they used pokesav on platinum to check and it turned out to be just 4 digits. seeing as it always has to be 5 is the zero added at the end or at the beginning?
Well, Im using Platinum.I assume you mean A216026A?
You missed still your delay by 1, If your on D/P or HG/SS the GBA doesn't always change your delay from odd to even. It only seems to work 100% on Platinum. Try changing the year to 2009 instead.
By using such a low delay you have no other choice really
Maybe it isn't connected properly? Sometimes I have the same problem. On the DS main menu as you set your time be sure that the lower option actually says 'Start GBA Game' and not that there is no game inserted.Well, Im using Platinum.
Im 100% sure. Is it because Im using a R4?Maybe it isn't connected properly? Sometimes I have the same problem. On the DS main menu as you set your time be sure that the lower option actually says 'Start GBA Game' and not that there is no game inserted.
<_< more than likely. Just change the year to 2009 and be done with it. If your really using Platinum there should be no issue there because its still a 'real' capture date after May (or whenever the US release date was)Im 100% sure. Is it because Im using a R4?
And now I have to pick a seed with an odd number (1, 7, B or D etc.) or even (2, 4, A, C, etc.)? And I found a flawless spread, BB160272, it's in the year 2018 but Im able AR that away.<_< more than likely. Just change the year to 2009 and be done with it. You didn't just say that part I bolded......And now I have to pick a seed with an odd number (1, 7, B or D etc.) or even (2, 4, A, C, etc.)? And I found a flawless spread, BB160272, it's in the year 2018 but Im able AR that away.
edit: Tried to hit it but I had BB160270, with a delay of 606. This means Im missing 2 delay's, is that normal?
You pretty much hit the nail on the head there. the inconistancies are seed specific. So if it happens on that seed once, repeat the process it WILL happen againThis question goes to those who extensively use Romsstar's seed verifier using the roamer method:
I have seen numerous reports of having a wandering roamer inconsistently advance the frame by 1 or 2. However, people still use the roamer method to check to see if they hit their seed(delay) AND are able to correctly advance their frame, even though having a roamer inconsistently advances the frame. What am I missing here?
Or is it that frame advances due to roamers are inconsistent from seed to seed, and that the frame advancement due to having a roamer out stays the same on the same seed?
In other words, if you hit the same seed several times while there's a roamer loose, will the advancement due to a roamer always be the same amount on that seed?
Thanks, I hittet my seed and now I have a flawless GarchompYou didn't just say that part I bolded......
Yes its common to miss by 2, it means you were off by approx 1/30th of a second, this is why it takes multiples resets to hit your target seed sometimes.

Thank you very much, you probably saved me a few days worth of experimenting, or weeks. Shouldn't something like this tidbit of info be on the front though? I tried finding it there b/f I asked here. You didn't just say that part I bolded......

I was following the emloop guide and I don't understand 1 thing:
It says "activate it the second you reset the clock 1 minute before the minute (rounded down) of your target time. My target time was on the 57th second, when I followed emloop, it had me resetting and entering the game 30 seconds before my target time was up...I really don't get this.
What's your delay?

Assuming your delay is short enough, I'd just make sure the yellow and green boxes add up to 57 and then reset the clock to the minute you want.
I've self-taught IV breeding but im having a little trouble understanding RNG capturing - I'll clarify what i mean:
I understand that you have to end up on the correct initial seed through hitting your target time and delay correctly - and advancing the frame doesn't seem any more complicated than it is when you're breeding - but how do you determine which pokemon you will encounter with the selected predetermined IV spread? Is there some sort of equation somewhere?
Otherwise if I went into say, the trophy garden, to catch a modest shiny Eevee with a 31/x/31/31/31/31 spread into a certain ball - how would I be sure that I would encounter the Eevee after I advance the RNG?
I hope that's clear enough for you to understand what I'm asking haha.
Hit a random seed, check what seed you are on by catching a pokemon, enter the seed into RNG Reporter in the egg nature option(ive forgotten what its called) and look for what frame any Naive nature is on.Hello guys.. Well I can easily find a seed to breed a Shiny egg of some nature, is there a way that I can find a speed with a non-shiny egg of some nature?
Example: I am trying to breed a Naive Bagon, but I only have a Modest Ditto and a Jolly Salamence so I want a seed that going to give me a Naive Bagon. Don't see any options for non-shiny eggs in RNGReporter.. anyone can help?

Alternatively you can enter a random ID/SID into the shiny spread time finder but theres a 1/8192 chance of that going wrong :P
The first way is easier.
Answers in bold.I need some help. I'm gonna be RNGing shiny Raikou (post E4) this weekend. There's a few things I need to know.
My frame is 17, calling Prof.Elm to confirm the seed, the RNG advances 10. If I have six Poke'mon with me, it advances by six per 128 steps (maybe, if it doesn't, I can have 5 Pokes and call Elm one more time). So here are my questions.
1. Is 128 steps the fastest route to Lance? You take around 80 steps minimum while going to Lance
2. When the NPC moves/turns, does he advance the frame by 1 or more?1
3. If your Rival challenges you (he pretends he's Phoenix Wright for some reason), will that advance any frames at all?No, but it would be better to avoid it just in case.
4. Will your phone work inside the League building (but before entering the E4 climb)? No, the radio works though
I need to know everything before RNGing Raikou/Entei. The more help, the better.
