yes the weather will throw off your coin flips, what you have to do is catch a pokemon to check or use the pokeradar if you can to RNG, LF posted a miniguide on it on the first page.

alright guys.... I've got a little problem.... I was trying to hit a delay of 3357... so using emloop of course I do what I needed to do... I found out I didn't hit my seed... but because of the wierdest reason... I hit 3356..... my game has ALWAYS given me an odd Delay... and I don't have a GBA game and I didn't scroll down at all... what the F*CK did I do? I'm going to try again to see if for some reason my game just maically changed from even to odd... but if not... this will be yet ANOTHER inconsistency I will have to deal with (FML)
Got my answer. I don't think radio detuning messes up like that, it was probably b/c my target time causes the DS date to rollover. I figured it out from the front page, it's at the very bottom:
"DS Date Rollover was reported to advance the RNG by 7. Verify under debugger and check to make sure that it is not dependent upon the number of Pokemon in party."
However, for me, I have a roamer out, latios, and thus I get an additional +1 for frame advancement. My target frame was 673, I did 671 frame advances to hit 673. Instead, I hit 676. 676-671-1(latios roamer)-1(entei monster frame)=3 frames advanced unintentionally.
Can anyone else confirm if DS date rollover advances the RNG by 3 in HG/SS, rather than 7?

I have this problem all the time...when I try to hit an even delay such as 622 I hit 621 and 623...then when I aim for 623 I hit 624 and 622...it drives me mad...any help? Also what do you mean by scroll down?
on the main menu (the one with the continue option) if you scroll down to the second page of it... it changes the delay....
Will different Pokemon with the same spread also have the same characteristic? (i.e. a particular flawless spread always reading "Often dozes off" instead of the other ones)
yes for example I used my timid spread on a bunch of different pokemon and they always say "Often dozes off" as the characteristic.
If it has the same PID it will have the same characteristic, but if it has a different PID, it might have a different characteristic mentioned.
So nexus is right, because he caught everything with the same PID.
I have no clue what the hell is wrong with my Egg PID...
I've encountered so many wrong natures and I know my SID and ID, I get my pokemon from routes 226 and 225, I made sure the parents we not in the daycare, I did not do anything when the happiness checker was opened, I did not miscount, so I don't get what I'm doing wrong.
Does the quick hatch code or IV checker screw me over or somethin'? Cause I would really like to know

Actually, the same thing happened to me the other day :S I don't use AR codes, BTW.
I think I realized what I was doing wrong. I didn't have 5 pokemon in my party when advancing the egg frames
EDIT: Yeah you need 5 pokemon before capturing one in the level 50 areas. I feel like such an idiot now.
Well, I was trying to abuse on DEsmume, as opposed to the real cart, which explains why it didn't work for me this time when it had worked several times before.
I did have five, but since I didn't capture a poké to determine my seed because I looked at the game's RAM, that could have been why I couldn't do it.
Are the encounter slots for HGSS still expirimental? Because I've been having some problems with it.

This spread is appears on frame 7 with a syncer. It's supposed to be encounter slot 9. On route 35, that's supposed to be Ditto.
With two roamers, the starting frame is four.
I used a time that appears on 11:48, so I waited until 12 to use the radio for advancement.
Two radio advancements, plus one for Sweet Scent. Should be frame 7.
I did indeed hit my spread, but it was an Abra. Encounter slot 6,7.
On frame 11, the spread appears again with encounter slot 7. So there could be something up with frame advancement.
I'm going to try again later to hit my Seed and catch a poke with my advancement to see what happens. I've done this is other Seeds, and frame advancement seems constant, so could someone look at the encounter slots.

have you downloaded RNG reporter 7.50, it gives accurate encounter slots for HG/SS, I downloaded it right now, ran your seed and on frame 7 the encounter slot is listed as 6 so that explains why abra appeared, so download the latest RNG reporter to resolve this problem.
