aye yi yi..im confused
ok so i got my SID from pandoras box, and I still cant confirm if its ok to use or not, i hit my frames(shiny frames) and they are still not shiny(this happned with raikou and suicune), but everything else matches up(ivs, nature and hp), i also used elm method to confirm the seed and it worked, if u get a SId from pandoras box(the middle option not shiny seed finder) and it gives you a delay do you have to hit that delay every time? (the delay its gave me with the SID is 492, and i hit from 483- 495) idk what to do, idk if the problem is my SID or something else, anyone have ideas?

When rereleasing Entei (Raikou's still out), does it still advance the frame by six or is it by two? 'Cause I tried the following when I got my delay:
Radio detuning +4 -> Entei assuming 6 -> Raikou running 1 = 11 frame
When I spotted Entei, he wasn't shiny. When I caught him, he was on frame 7... I only see one possibility.
Radio detuning +4 -> Entei assuming 2 -> Raikou running 1 = 7 frame.
Did I get all of that correctly?

Entei advances the frame by 1 if you have Raikou already roaming
Also Raikou roaming can sometimes advance the frame by 2 when you start the game
So:

Just downloaded RNG reporter to a new computer and I'm having trouble getting it running. I'm getting the following error::

Is there any way to accurately modify your time to get the right seed so that when you get an egg, its IVs are good?
When RNGing for a shiny egg, you can save and soft reset for good IVs, so the IVs should be generated by the RNG. (right?) Is there a way yet to work backwards for good IVs?

So you're going for the Jolly 20/31/23/7/20/11 spread?
Make sure when you save Raikou is not on Route 38. Then it should be fine.
Do you have Lati@s roaming as well?
Latios isn't roaming. If it respawns (when I release and kill it) and if anyone knows the frame of it when it comes back, I can RNG it then.

For general Platinum RNG, using the RNG reporter, do I need my SID to find a frame to capture a certain Method J pokemon, for example a non shiny Azelf?
No, your SID would only be needed for catching something with a Shiny Spread or breeding a Shiny.
Help catching perfect IV ditto
I'm pretty new to RNG abusing BUT I have read the guide on catching the perfect pokemon, mentioned on page 1. So I need help with catching a ditto with perfect IV having 31 in 4 stats or more. Supposing that I do get the target time and delay right (and i check with the coin flip app as well), how do I get the frames right for catching this ditto, considering that it requires activation of pokeradar and walking in the grass? I mean, do I need to sort out the frame calculation in my head if i want to catch the ditto, like lets say the target frame is over 20, and I walk in the grass (+1 RNG), activate the pokeradar (pls tell me if it advances the RNG or not), walk out (+1 RNG), then i have to figure out how to hit the spot that PROBABLY has the ditto? I hope you guys understood what I am trying to say... Please help me out if you know about this. Thanks

Alright, so I tried catching a perfect Ditto up on route 47 in HG. I hit the target twice, the first time giving me a Spearow with the wrong frame (I wasn't sure if Sweet Scent was +2 or +1, and it ended up being +2) and a perfect Spearow with the spread I wanted.
So my question is: will every Sweet Scent on this seed/frame result in a Spearow? Ditto has a somewhat-nice 41% chance of showing up, but if the RNG decides which pokemon shows up each time, it's kinda pointless to keep trying this seed, and I might have to move onto another.
Fun thing, though -- that mistaken Spearow I caught first actually had Pokerus when I caught it, heheh. :)

yes for the frame you are using you always get a spearow on that seed. Use the encounter slots listed at the bottom of this post http://www.smogon.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1821938&postcount=5
to see the encounter slots for a certain frame, highlight the frame, right click and an option that says "Calculate encounter slots" and it will give you the encounter slot for sweet scenting for that frame. Find a frame where the encounter slot matches ditto's encounter slot on route 47 and when you land on thaty frame, ditto should appear with the desired spread.
In platinum, how are people getting past the "weather" for captured pokemon? Are they not checking if they've hit their seed and just advancing their frame every reset and capturing the pokemon first? Or how are they checking if they hit their seed?

I'm having some problems advancing the frame by calling youngster joey. It seems like its inconsistent because when I call him 20 times, my frame is only advanced to 36 after catching the pokemon I want. Am I doing something wrong?
If I recall correctly, my previous RNG experiences on HG/SS have resulted in odd delays when I don't scroll on the Continue screen and even delays when I do. RNG Reporter just told me that I got an even delay, and I didn't scroll at all. Does it change back and forth?
