Best NU team ever:

Scarf Typhlosion lead
Scarf Magmortar
Life Orb Dragon Dance Charizard
Defensive Entei
Nasty Plot Ninetales
Quagsire

That's what Quagsire is for silly.

Good riddance. Maybe people can start actually using some other special walls for once.

I love that Nidoqueen dropped down. Qwilfish is kind of cool too. My Rain Dance team just got so much better. However now that Slowking is gone this tier is going crazy. Magmortar is pretty much unstopable (well not really but still).

IMO we're gonna see a HUGE jump in Raindance and Sandstorm teams trying to fill the hole Slowking's leaving.
I'm actually happy Slowking's leaving tbh, hopefully Skuntank will see a drop in usage(though i kinda doubt he will). And like PK said, maybe people will try using NU's OTHER special walls for a change. Go Go Flareon!

The good news about magmortar is that hes stealth rock weak, and when you consider we got a viable spikes (qwilfish) he takes about 37% switching in with just one layer of spikes. Factor in some life orb, sac something then bring in priority cham/scarved water type to force him out do once more. Magmortar has now killed 2 of your team members and maimed a 3rd at the cost of it's own life...
Broken

Flareon has potential.. But it's no Umbreon or Vapoeron, sadly.
Too bad it doesn't get Flare Blitz. Would've make a nice Pokemon. Sadly, Troll Freak gave it LAVA PLUME. A very needed phyis- special attack.
Expect fires to be dominating, I'll might go back to my DDZard.

And if I see any more rain dance team I'LL KILL THEM!!!
I hate those teams in UU..

Rain Dance is incredibly good now. Its main check is gone (Slowking), it's got Qwilfish back to eliminate the physical walls that give Floatzel trouble and provide the extra sweeper it generally lacked, and everyone's gonna be running multi-Fire.

Alright!!

To be honest, that was either a mistake in the spreadsheet or I accidentally removed it when copying the list. I have gone through all the numbers again to double check everything and that is the only mistake that seems to have arisen. Sorry about that.

Edit: It was definitely deleted by me from the list on accident before I posted it because I added it to UU on the site but forgot to remove it from NU.

So, Miltank is UU now after all. No more MilKing

how about scarf espeon with HP rock. espeon is faster than most threats, including scarf typhlosion, and can and still be a fearsome sweeper

Interesting. Very interesting.

We're looking at a whole new metagame, folks - an even more offensive one than the last. Wow.

Magmortar wallbreaking for HP Rock Ninetales is an amazing strategy that would work well without you having to dedicate your entire team to it.

I've already thrown together three different teams I want to test - anyone want to come and test or have a mini-tourney or something on CAP right now?

Magmortar has always had 2 major weaknesses: It's predictability and it's lacking speed. MANY threats in the tier outspeed and OHKO it and a number can come in on a resisted hit and force it out again. Broken rain will be broken though.. sigh..

Magmortar is predictable, but so is Garchomp. And Latias.

Wait, Latias is predictable? It can run Specs, Scarf, bluff Specs/Scarf with Expert Belt, run offensive CM with LO or Leftovers or defensive CM with Leftovers, or support/tank.

Can Camerupt stand up to Magmortar? It resists Fire Blast and soaks TBolt, and can fire off STAB Earthquake/Earth Power in return.

Wait, Garchomp is predictable? It can run Swords Dance, Choice Band, Choice Scarf, Life Orb, and Chain Chomp.

But that's neither here nor there.

So, Rain Dance counters multi-fire teams?

Multi-Fire often doesn't have a way to deal with Rain Dance. They're less likely to carry bulky Water resists and more likely to have something like Quagsire, easily dispatched by HP Grass. Fast Swift Swimmers like Floatzel will 6-0 Leman's team, for example.
