Sadly, as much as I agree, they can't just completely remove an attack (removing the TM....sadly, they can't do that either w/o cutting connection between Gen 4 and 5).

They can make Rapid Spin appear on a few more Pokemon though, instead of being heavily restricted.

lol. This reminds me of when Delibird was the best Rapid Spinner in the game b/c immunity to all entry hazards.

There's no need to remove the move. Just make it work with a fixed amount of damage. I can't figure out why on earth it wasn't made like this in the first place.
Of all the dumb stuff gamefreak has ever pulled on us, SR typing was certainly the worst

If Absol had more speed, he could make it to OU. Just saying. And Banette needs an evo, too.

Lucario will not get an evolution, mostly since he was the poster Pokemon for 4th gen and I don't think they're going to change that in the slightest. And he already has the stats for a final evolution as well.

Edit: I think Dark/Psychic would fit Absol best as an evo, and leaves him with only one weakness. Scizor would be all over that shit, though.

And Stealth Rocks should cap at about 20% damage. That way it doesn't get insanely broken, yet makes an impact against those that are weak to it. It would especially be a godsend to the x4 weaknesses out there.

I just thought of this: An ability that stops recharging from attacks like Hyper Beam.
Or an ability that makes it so you don't have to charge for attacks like Solar Beam and Sky Attack.

Or maybe just an ability that covers both.

Sableye needs an evo the most out of the Pokemon mentioned so far.....Instead of trying to erase it by creating Spiritomb and giving it the most imppossible ability in the game in the form of "Stall", they should be trying to fix him. He already has a decent move pool, as well as the Recover Spiritomb desires, just needs less Spinda like stats.

Absol is one of those Pokemon that I think works very well 'stand-alone' from a thematic viewpoint, and as such I wouldn't want to see an evo. Lapras is another. Tauros and Miltank - though they could get a shared prevo. Luvdisc (face it, an evo would still be rubbish). Relicanth. Aerodactyl. There are probably others.

They should bring back Hyper Beam and the like not needing to recharge when they KO. It kind of makes sense - the recharge would happen while the other trainer is choosing their next Pokemon and sending it out. Make the moves useful. Give Dialga and Rhyperior a reason to consider their signature moves.

Absol -> Absent = Dark/Ghost
I doubt they'd do it but it would probably fit his flavour best.
More realistic might be Dark/Psychic but that's what I want for Girafarig.

Relicanth evo would be cool. Absol would need to receive changes in his stats, unlikely, so it'd probably need an evolution to be usable.

Luvdisc (face it, an evo would still be rubbish
His stats were rubbish enough. Like one of the worst move pools in the game helped any more. lol

Aqua Jet on something w/ speed actually higher than a number of OU Pokemon and Agility as well as Swift Swim was waaaaay more than overkill when it really didn't do anything. If it got Baton Pass and maybe some support besides Rain Dance and Sweet Kiss, it would at least be usable

Absol would need to receive changes in his stats, unlikely, so it'd probably need an evolution to be usable.
Absol's stats are very usable. Just speculating to make an awesome Pokemon.

I can't imagine them doing a Relicanth evo. They are probably going to let it have Head Smash-the recoil and leave him be.

i am going to give the same lecture everyone gave to me 1 hour ago and say that relicanth dont need a evo, his stats are not bad by any means, high defense and hp, usable atack with a non-recoil 225 power rock move(i am counting STAB) in the form of head smash make a CB set usable, he get rock polish for the speed problems, the only problem i see with him is the special defense what can be somewhat fixed in sandstorm. relicantch was made for the regi in-game event has far i know, he is one of those pokemons that a evolution just wont fix anything.

You don't need dual STAB for OU sweeping. Sure, only 4 sweepers in OU have one type, but how many dual STAB users actually take advantage of it? Gengar wishes it didn't have that Psychic weakness.

...why is that? gengar dont got a problem with the psychic weakness, its not like any pokemon in OU carry psychic moves most of the time has far i know, he kind enjoy the 4X bug resist and toxic immunity.

heck, his first form love the poison STAB it get in LC.

I just found out why Sableye was made to be horrible.....It seems many gimmick/regular Pokemon are made just to put GFs view on things. Sableye was inspired by an apparent alien attack that is constantly mocked in japan according to Bulbapedia.

This strikes out several Pokemon who hoped for evos.....

....do you got a list of those pokemons maybe?

...or physical version of Hidden Power that you can use more than once and it doesn't require you to sacrifice a good held item for a berry just to use that move (Natural Gift).

I hope Absol doesn't get an evo because the potential for lameness is too high with Sugimori. Absol is one of the most original and coolest designs ever, and his evo will probably be based off a fire hydrant or something.

Doesn't Relicanth's Pokedex data always talk about how he "hasn't changed in 100 million years"?

http://serebii.net/pokedex-dp/369.shtml

I know that Pokedex data is often weird or inaccurate - for example, according to his dex entry, Garchomp can fly. It just seems paradoxical that a Pokemon based on the colecanth fish (which hasn't evolved since before the time of the dinosaurs) would be given an evolution.

On the other hand, I'd love an evolution for Absol, and I think we're going to get one. I just have a strange feeling...LOL, I'm probably starting to sound like Absol himself!

But seriously, judging by the 4th gen, it does seem as if Gamefreak enjoys making evos for evil/creepy looking Pokemon. Dusclops, Murkrow, Sneasel, Gligar, Snorunt, and Misdreavus all got evos in Diamond and Pearl, and I'd hate to run into any of those in a dark alley.

Finally, I will laugh at you all when Luvdisc's killer evolution Passhark (passion + shark) gets a 650 BST and is immediately banned to Ubers.

Is it just me or does it seem like a lot of exoskeleton pokemon could receive evolutions? Things like Kingler could evolve into a water/steel, while Pinsir could evolve into a bug/ground (he burrows into the ground). Both of these pokemon need secondary typings and a little shuffle of stats to make them viable in higher tiers.

According to Farfethc'd origin, it is supposed to be harmless and was based on a legendary bird that would offer itself as food to travelers.
Lapras is based off Loch Ness (no real surprise)
Dunesparce is the japanese BigFoot
Delibird = Santa
Spinda is based on something from "Sanrio" (don't know what that is)
Volbeat represents some Japanese Subculture that was identical to American "greasers" wearing the same pattern on their clothes.
Mawile

I know, but I don't care...I mean, whispers all around the Internet say "where's our Fighting/Flying dual-type?", and it's a fantastic dual-STAB only resisted by Rotom and Zapdos. If we don't get our Fighting/Flying in a Farfetch'd evo, we better get it somewhere else.

I would like a Kingler w/ more HP. Pinsir is good...Just a lot that gets in his way

Ya, his origin made me lol. I had never heard of anything like it, but it's funny imagining Farfetch'd walking up to a traveler and saying "eat me" (sounds similar to an animal mentioned earlier, but still, it didn't offer itself). I'm surprised he doesn't learn Momento/Healing Wish. Sacrificing itself to prepare it's teammate.

I doubt Farfetch'd will evolve into a part fighting......An evo is iffy, but if a Flying/Fighting it will probably be somewhere else....

Established Pokemon like Absol and Farfetch'd, who already have unique flavor, should receive boosts in the form of exclusive moves and/or items rather than evolutions.

Farfetch'd already has an exclusive item (Stick) and it's still nigh-unusable, mostly because none of its base stats even reach the 70s. At least Absol has massive Attack and Sucker Punch.

Everywhere I look, everyone wants to see a Fighting/Flying "Absur'd", and if we don't get that, Fighting/Flying is still not that hard to create. Imagine something like Mega Man X boss Storm Eagle, or just slap some wings on any old Fighting-type.

I think Kingler's happy enough with Agility, his new favorite toy from HGSS. Gamefreak could always make another crab line that was Water/Steel.

Bug/Ground Pinsir evo would be so awesome. He would automatically ground levitators with Mold Breaker and wallop them with STAB Earthquake. Bronzong, you are so done.
