What would be a good nature for a mixed Arcanine running Flash Fire?

Move set would be Morning Sun / Flare Blitz / Heat Wave / Extremespeed

(It's for Doubles)

I'm leaning away from any of the -SpA natures, and I'm thinking either Lonely (+Atk, -Def), which would definitely be the way to go if I were running Intimidate, or one of the neutrals.

rash, naughty and/or naive can work fine i guess, though i would use something like morning sun. hp grass, heat wave and extremespeed with a rash nature instead, you can work with naughty if you want.

I wish to create an Uber team, and I want Mewtwo to be in it.

Mewtwo@Choice Specs or Life Orb
4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe
~Aura Sphere
~Ice Beam
~Thunder
~Fire Blast/Shadow Ball

I would like to know what should go in the last slot, as well as what item should it hold.

Also, how come some say it's Fire Blast and others say it's Shadow Ball?

You should think about making a heavier investment in Attack, and running Overheat over Heat Wave, so the drawback doesn't cost you that much, other than a weaker Overheat, unless you decide to run another Special Attack

Fire Blast can take out bulky Steels that can wall you if you don't use it, Shadow Ball doesn't add much coverage regardless, but if you're using Choice Specs, go Timid, if you're using Life Orb, I'm not sure if Modest or Timid would be better, most likely still Timid

So Fire Blast is your recommendation, thanks.

I just realized that the Mewtwo with lower overall Sp.A has Shadow Ball on the analysis. Why is that?

And is the perfect neutral coverage really that important? =\

Someone else correct me if I'm wrong, but I've a feeling you should never run a neutral nature, because you can always hit the same stats using fewer EVs with a non-neutral nature.
I'm pretty sure that's right.

So I couldn't find my previous post, so I'll ask again. What is the chance of a Pokémon surviving 2 different attacks using Focus Sash?

And what is the damage calculation for critical hits? Sometimes it does around 2x damage, and sometimes it does 15x, what's up with that?

Well, they'd have to Recycle to get the Sash back, then heal back to full health... Do you mean Band?

Focus Band has a 10% survival rate; so, living twice in a row is 10/100 * 10/100 = 1/100, a 1% chance.

You may want to check your calculations again.

On the odds of getting shiny patches with pokeradar, does anyone have the EXACT odds at a chain of 20, and 30, or estimates even?
Any help greatly appreciated.

Where Nc is the number of Pokémon in the chain, up to 40.

i had an odd double idea is it possible to skill swap with a shedinja then switch shedinja out and skill swap to a spirtomb which would be invincible

can someone help me with desmume pokemon heart gold and pokesav? basically i export backup memory to convert the save file into .sav then edit it in pokesav and then load the save but nothing changes. can anyone help me out?

Thanks for pointing that out. I ended up going for Lonely after all, but was going to settle on a Docile because it had the correct ability, gender and borderline stats. On this advice, I'm gonna keep going.

Heat Wave hits both targets, which is why I'm using it over the more powerful special fire-type moves.

What move combos work best on Choice Specs Mewtwo? Do Psychic and Trick have any ulitity? Maybe even using Calm Mind and Trick to set a sweep in a similar way to Trick Darkrai?

Okay, I have a question about Little Cup--shouldn't it be impossible to give a Pokemon more than, say, 110-120 EVs in any given category, since they're only Lv.5, and the vitamins will only take you up to 100?

I know that Shoddy is a battle simulator, but in every other regard, Shoddy attempts to adhere to the rules and mechanics of the actual game.
