If they gave it this name it would be a reference to Draconians, which are usually reptilian-like creatures in fiction anyways.Blissey
Many many pages ago I suggest Draconeon, the dragon Eeveelution, be specially-based, and posted a spread (forgot what). The idea was for it to be like a weaker version of Latios.
Mijumaru...
For you Blue Dragon fans, doesn't that remind you of "Maromaro"? o.o
And I think Mijumaru's final evo is going to be a bigger, blue version of Bibarel...
I know most people say we don't need a new type, but maybe we do. Maybe we should get another type. Something that resists dragon, and a few other types (perhaps including one, but not all, of steel's weaknesses). Mustn't be weak to fire or ground. The dragon type is currently somewhat off-balanced, and it doesn't help that it's only resisted by the steel type which is also arguably unbalanced.
If it has few weaknesses and one of them's poison, that gives the poison-type a much bigger boost. Especially if many of the new type's weaknesses are resisted by grass, so poison is the only thing that can hit both. Perhaps even have it so grass/new type is only 4x weak to poison (that means new type would resist Fire, Ice, Flying, Bug, and the aforementioned Dragon) and the Pokemon with that type is capable of being a big threat. Then you'd see posion moves and even HP Poison around a lot more.
I'm still waiting for a Dragon-type Pokemon that makes absolutely no sense why it's a Dragon-type and have a bunch of kids on these forums bring up a bunch of bs answers of why they think it was made Dragon.
A lot of people seem to be under the impression that the Dragon type is overpowered and needs to be nerfed in the coming generation. With Dragon only having two weaknesses and one type that resists its attacks, I can't deny that this is true...but I think you all are looking at it the wrong way.
Dragons are meant to be overpowered, because, well, they're freakin' dragons! I know we'd all like it if Poison types or Bug types were just as competitively viable as these beasts, but from a practical perspective this just wouldn't make any sense. Butterfree is a butterfly. Arbok is a snake. Salamence is a fire-breathing, mythical monster. They're not meant to be equal, and they shouldn't be.
Charizard is also a fire-breathing dragon, so by your theory, why is he rubbish?
A few Pokemon with three types would be cool and interesting. It's no doubt that it would be broken though, lol. Can anyone think of good combinations?

Ground/Electric/Ice has unresistant STAB on everything bar Shedinja.A few Pokemon with three types would be cool and interesting. It's no doubt that it would be broken though, lol. Can anyone think of good combinations?
Too late....Ice/Ground/Electric,
stab boltbeam+supereffective stab hit on 2/3 of those that resist it? yes please
Charizard is fine. He's only NU b/c he is destroyed by SR and the only thing he can do Moltres can't is Belly Drum.....My favorite starter too....![]()
From a competitive view, there are three things I want:
i) a nerfed Blissey. It's irritating how most special attackers are instantly blocked by her
ii) a stronger Charizard. He looks tough, but four generations this aesthetic monstrosity is not a competitive one
iii) three good, OU starters. If I can catch the two I didn't choose after I beat the game, that would be great, as they're MEANT to be native to that region
