See the hog with metal exhaust pipes? That is the concept that would make the most sense for a fire/steel Pokabu evolution. The pipes shoot flames, pretty cool actually. It would likely be outclassed by Heatran if it was defensive (by virtue of limited BST + lowest stat of any final evolution starter being 56), and a speedy sweeper would fit the theme and would be pretty useful (it resists a lot of moves anyways). EDIT: This would actually be a ridiculously good utility Pokemon, lol.

535 BST
HP: 71
Attack: 98
Defense: 80
Special Attack: 100
Special Defense: 76
Speed: 110

Notable moves: U-turn, Pursuit, Crunch, Taunt, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Flare Blitz, Overheat, Will-o-Wisp, Earth Power, Earthquake, Spikes (?), Explosion, Extremespeed, Roar, Head Smash, Rock Polish, Stealth Rock, Stone Edge, Iron Head

I can't wait to learn more about Reshiram and Zekrom... hopefully Pokemon Sunday will reveal some news about them.

wtf is that? world of warcraft?

Brutal Legend, lol. You know they could easily make it more like a Pokemon, just add some fire on its actually body. I'm not suggesting to rig wheels to the thing, either, lol. It should keep its legs, but have those sweet exhaust pipes.

and make it less ugly, that shit look like it came from a fusion of pig and serial killer, i like the idea though spikes dont make a lot of sense, SR does, and wtf is extremespeed doing there? head smash? wtf? that thing head is not hard enough for this, he is better off with stone edge anyway.

I have to admit... actually playing Brutal Legend influenced the moves there, lol. Extremespeed because the thing charges at you (like a Linoone) in a straight line. Head Smash because it hits you head first. Tell me how Spikes don't make sense on a Fire/Steel boar that runs along the ground but make sense on Forretress or Skarmory?

because steelix and onix dont learn spikes, and they are BELOW the ground just like dugtrio who btw, also dont learn, head smash is not totally retarded, but when you see that only stuff like aggron and rampardos(they head are harder then this serial pigger ass) learn head smash you start to notice the head should be made of steel, not meat, in oder to learn the move, but i guess i can let this one go.

if anything that charged at me learned extremespeed then this metagame would be filler with froslasses and dusknoirs, trust me, it dont make sense, extremespeed is a unique priority move only special stuff learn, and a freaking pig is not one of then.

For some reason I thought something like Quagsire received Head Smash in HGSS... forget that then. Togekiss can have Extremespeed... but not this? Besides, flavor text goes a long way to implanting ideas into our heads. On top of this, I doubt he would use any of the questionable moves anyways (as if he were a really Pokemon anyways...) because Explosion, Fire Blast, Iron Head, Stealth Rock, Taunt, U-turn, Pursuit, Earthquake, and Flare Blitz are too damn good.

togekiss make sense, its a paper plane, also iron head being too damn good? only on jirachi, but meh, i like the idea for this serial pigger anyway.

What kind of fossil pokemon are you guys hoping for?

Lets take a closer look on the highest stats per pokemon in each gen(atleast what i think theyre focused on)

Gen I~>Kabutops~>Physical Attacker Omastar~>Special Attacker
Gen II~>No Fossils
Gen III~> Cradily~>Special Wall[Average normal defense] Armaldo~>Physical Attacker[Average normal defense]
Gen IV~>Rampardos~>Physical Attacker Bastidoon~>Physical Wall[Fine Sp.Def]

Gen V~>.........Special Attacker , Special sweeper anyone?
Hopefully i want fossil pokemon to be more common starting Gen V , something like mixed sweepers with average speed:D

I'm VERY interested in what Fossils are introduced, since I mainly use those. Gen IV's fossils were amazing. Bastiodon being the ace of my team now.

I can expect Gen V's to be just as useful.

Fossil 1: Tyrannnosaurus Rex (Dark/Rock; come on! T-Rex could only be Dark) Signature move: Absolute Domination (Dark)
Fossil 2: Spinosaurus (Fire/Rock) Signature move: Meteor Rain (Fire)

I wish they'd increase it to 3 fossils, with a third available in both versions. Electric/Rock would be good.

So we have Fossil Water, Fossil Grass, Fossil Bug, Fossil Flying, Fossil Steel, Fossil pure Rock... Thats quite a wide range to use. Just need Fossil Electric (any ancient creatures that use bioelectricity?) and Fossil fire and dark.

Tyranitar is already a T. Rex, but I digress.

A Microraptor or something similar would be nice, one of those little flying dinosaurs with feathers.

I really don't want either fossil Pokemon of Gen V to have a Fire typing. Magcargo can keep its terrible typing all to itself, you know?

On the plus side: I will take Rock/Ghost and Rock/Fighting. Not sure how they would work out design-wise, but at least Rock/Ghost has a typing to nullify one of Rock's weaknesses.

Surely if that pokemon had higher speed and special attack it would be viable as a good scarfer.

A coelophysis would be a pretty cool utility pokemon, or just another suicide lead. It could fit an electric typing somewhere.
A diplodocus would make a fine tank too, but would look dumb.

Rock/Ghost would be awesome , Ground/Ghost would be even more awesome[immune to electric]

The grass tye starter is screaming I am going to look like sceptile. Your right, a boar is definitely going to be pokabu's final evolution. The otter thing, ehh I don't know it's just so.... weird?

The otter is probably going to be the best competitively. Of each starter set, the ones I find the ugliest are always the best. Always. No joke.

Maybe for the first three generations (and even then things vary over the generations: Charizard was better than Venusaur back in GSC) but how can you possibly say Infernape is uglier than Torterra. Look at that thing's head it's disgusting. Unless you're talking about first forms, then I would agree with you.
