when I saw the starters I was kinda startled, but now I love them (well, not pokabu, i still dislike him, but I dislike him just cause, not for being idk...im kinda confused now)

the zebra's awesome

Four horses? Umm...Ponyta, Girafarig, Shimama and ???(not counting Rapidash since it's an evolution)

I think Shimama is going to be my favourite Electric type, I didn't really like the Electric types in general Gen 1-4

I'm thinking if they all evolved into heroic Pokemon. Not legendaries, not pseudo-legends. A new group of heroes. Rapidash can be the overkilled idea of a winged-horse. Gastrodon (though it's a slug) can turn into a Hippocampus. Girafarig and the zebra can be...something else. 4 horses of the apocalypse with an ability to do extra damage to legendaries and pseudo-legendaries.

Castform is going to have a ball w/ the 20 new field effects. lol I would laugh to see him w/ a form for each (albeit very unlikely considering that's a lot and they aren't actually weather). I would cry if I found out Fog was going to be a weather effect and that Castform got a new form for it. New form or not, I desperately wish for Fog to return.

Oh yes. I have a shiny Castform I'm hoping to use(if BW is compatible with DPPt/HGSS)

Yeah, some lass in RBY mentioned they wanted a floral Pokemon or something :D

that is true speculation...someone does mention it's description...
A NPC in Gen 1 wanted a cute Pokemon w/ a floral pattern. Someone mentioned this on PokeBeach's forums, and now people think it might be an original design from Pokemon R/G/B. I wouldn't be surprised if it was, to be honest. It does seem like a simple design, one I can imagine Pokemon created in it's earlier years. lol, I can imagine a little kid hanging a picture of it on their refrigerator.

I hope Castform gets an evo so that a Pokemon with Forecast can have more than 420 BST >_>. Preferably 500+ BST. Or it can get evos for each weather form. I just want it to evolve and perhaps GET A NEW SPRITE ALREADY!!!

I hope Telekinesis does something more useful than that, like preventing them from using ground moves or causes them to take damage when they fall down or something. Sure it would be useful in Doubles but I'm tired of attacks/abilities that are only useful in doubles (like Plus/Minus =_=)

I think it'll be like an anti-gravity thing. Like how gravity prevented moves like fly, hi-jump-kick, and so and so. This will prevent moves that are ground-based, or maybe just give all the battling pokemon an immunity to ground for a few turns.

Also, and I hope my guess is wrong, but it might make moves lower in accuracy.

If it lowers accuracy, it would be the exact opposite of the Gravity flied effect. B/W are focusing a lot on Accuracy....Numerous moves, including Zoroark's signature move and the first new attack released (Claw Sharpen) affect it.....

hm, stopping the foe from using earthquake could have its advantages but thats the only good ground based move i can think of

Yeah, Shimama is awesome. That's by CombuskensFlame on DeviantART.

that has been known and stated for a long time. the creator of pokemon had thousands of pokemon designs right from the start. so i still believe that all these characters, or at least a tremendously high percentage of them have been known about since the beginning.. but as the years went along.. im sure they've changed the pokemon a little bit here or there. and thrown in new ones.

1000?...3/4 of them are probably uselessly horrible designs though.
Or used in non-Pokemon games.

The starters for B/W looked horrifyingly different a few months ago. There designs were completely overhauled right before their release.

who said this? besides the so-called amazing source at pokebeach. and like i said.. of course they're going to tweak and change pokemon as the years go.

Once again; PokeBeach. Serebii was given information from the same source, but didn't post it b/c they weren't 100% of some of the things that source said (like a Tauros evo) according to Serebii him/her self.

I really don't think they'll be any new Castform forms, even if they do make new field effects. You don't see any Gravity/Trick Room Castforms now do you? (In fact, they never even made a Sandstorm one which is really lame.)

Anyway, I'm bored so I'm gonna post about the astetics of the new Pokemon.

Chiramii: My favorite new Pokemon, astetically, besides maybe Reshiram. I can't wait to get one. Hopefully its evo isn't ugly.

Mamepato (Bird): I'd say it's adequat. I don't particularly like it but I don't dislike it either. I'll probably get in my playthrough, regardless.

Hihidaruma (Ape): The only one that I don't like so far, since nothing about it makes any sense. Its entire body is just a giant ball (and not in the good kind of way like Electrode) and its mouth just looks weird. I'm sure I'll end up being okay with it eventually, though.

Shimama (Zebra): I would've thought a Zebra would have had more stripes than that and the ones it does have on it look kind of weird. I still like it though.

Meguroko (Aligater): The mask looks kind of weird but otherwise I like it. I think it kind of looks like a 1st stage Pokemon with an evo but it could just be a single stage Pokemon.

Munna (Pig thing): It looks really weird, but since I'm still thinking it's a Drowzee prevo, it looks alright because Drowzee looks really weird.

Gearu: Pretty cool design, even though it is fairly simple. Probably won't use it in game (if I get the chance) because I'm thinking it will be a 1st stage Pokemon that won't evolve and won't have that good of stats.

Except for Munna, Chiramii, and Mamepato, I think they're all 1st stage Pokemon that don't evolve. Chiramii will have the standard one evo and Mamepato will either have one or two. I'm expecting Munna will be the prevo of Drowzee so it will evolve into it and Hypno.
