Errrr... it hasn't gotten around yet that it's the same thing as Drowzee? A
Baku. It could still also be a pillow, but at that point it's a pillow Baku...
It could very well be a pillow baku, and that actually sounds like a great combination. It's certainly more clever than Drowzee, who basically looks exactly like the traditional depiction of a baku.
Another possibility is that Munna could be the good counterpart of the Drowzee and Hypno line...I guess those two aren't exactly evil, but they are undeniably creepy and sinister. Plus, they steal good dreams from people to eat (while bad dreams make them sick, as mentioned in many of their Pokedex entries). That's not cool. Well, maybe Munna could take the opposite path, protecting children from bad dreams while they sleep on him. It's just a thought.
I've also been reconsidering Hihidaruma's ability Encourage. I remember a few days ago everyone was starting to get excited about the possibilities of powered-up, recoil-less Flare Blitzes, but then a few killjoys claimed that things like recoil weren't secondary effects. If that's the case, what exactly are they? GameFreak has a habit of meaning what they say, and I think we have to take that into consideration. When they say Magic Guard makes the Clefairy line only take damage from direct attacks, that statement doesn't come with a qualifier. It's not, "well, the opponent can't damage them with status, weather, and entry hazards, but they can damage themselves with recoil." I'm sorry, but until someone can show me a line of coding that draws a distinction between the Paralysis rate of Thunderbolt and the recoil damage of Wood Hammer, I'm going to remain extremely positive about Hihi's ability.
Actually, I'd like an Air Lock ability for items, rather than a one-sided one. Especially if the wielder could use Trick. Load up with an Iron Sphere, then Trick it over to the enemy, and switch out.
Lopunny has Klutz (an ability which ignores held items) and can already learn Switcheroo. Trouble is, switching out leaves the opponent free to set up, spread status, you name it. Many opponents, like Curselax, Bronzong, or Blissey, simply don't care how fast they are. Still, they all miss their respective items, so this strategy is worth something.
