Hell of a match going on right now between Isner and Mahut, nearly every record is being broken and there is no sign of it ending, approaching 7 hours, 34-34 final set.

OH MY GOD WHAT IS GOING ON

Mahut vs Isner is breaking all kinds of records, its currently 2 sets each, and 34 (YES, THIRTY-FOUR) games each in the 5th set. This is amazing

edit: lol timing

hahahahaha

39-38 already, that´s almost 13 sets (!) (6-4 ones)

Isner 281 winners, Mahut 224

that´s so great

and they´re showing...Mr. Federer ._.

now it´s probably just a matter of who dies on the court loses

Oh wow, I don't know how these guys don't go mad. I'd be trippin playing tennis for over 7 hours.

yeah lol its amazing, Mahut looks the more likely player to break imo but I cant really see happening anytime soon.

im watchin the football now though lol I cant take all that tennis

At the moment Isner is just walking around the court. he can't even run. Whoever wins is gonna have get some serious locker-room respect. Anybody hear about dent breaking the championship record for fastest ever serve, with a 148 mph serve?

It makes me excited to watch such an epic battle--so much respect to both players for this. Whether they win or lose, both of these players will go down in tennis history as the players in the longest tennis match of all time. BOTH of them have already beaten Ivo Karlovich's former record for most aces in one match (78). Tennis is awesome.

yeah this game is unbelievable, i dont mind who wins but whoever does will feel amazing, coming out on top after such a game. cant wait for it to start again

I agree... it's pretty much guaranteed that the winner will be so beat up that he will lose in the next round, but winning a match like this is tantamount to winning the championship itself.

Glad its finally over, hopefully this never happens again, I'm all for marathon matches, but that was too much. Poor Isner has a doubles match now, and De Bakker tomorrow. No match will ever come close to this, the way they matched up was perfect for a marathon, Isner's booming serve and Mahut running the court. Though I think it is primarily Isner's fault for not being more aggressive during Mahut's serves, had he been more aggressive and risk-taking, the match may have ended ages ago yesterday. They both played well and my hats off to them, the conditions were perfect for this, a fast side court, 2 players that couldn't do much to the other's serve, and 2 strong willed players who never gave up.

I agree it seemed once Isner was down 0-30 or some games even 0-15 on his return games against Mahut he simply gave up. I think it was partially Isner's fault for letting it go so long, it seemed like whenever Mahut was serving Isner tried to reserve energy knowing he would hold his serve. Isner had the advantage the entire set simply because he served first, and always had the pressure on Mahut as long as he held his serve. It seemed Mahut had more physical ability than Isner once the set went on, but that probably is because Isner is 6'9. This match showed great ability physically, and showed the mental toughness of both of the players to the fullest extent.
This truly was an epic match.

Wozniacki just got demolished by some random woman 6-2 6-0, this sucks

idc about the womans draw now, one of the Williams will most likely win it so it doesnt interest me much anymore

I hope Wozniacki can win the US open, she got to the final last year hopefully she can go 1 better this

wozniacki is the sole worst world #2 in the history of the game

"random woman" dominated azarenka in the previous round and isn't taking any bullshit from moonball woz, the more aggressive player won and grass rewards that, vamos petra

also sorry but if your interest in the women's draw hinged on wozniacki possibly winning the slam or wozniacki's performance as a whole, disappointment shouldn't be on your agenda at all...

federer's out now aswell, beaten in 4 sets by berdych. definetely not my favourite wimbledon.

well rooting for berdych or soderling to win it now
