IMO when defining if you like a pokemon or not you should ignore ANY other pokemon that exist, forget the generation, the evolutions and pre-evos and everything else.

just look at the pokemon and instead of trying to find what you dont like try to find what you like about him, that is how i started to love Lucario so much.

i look at those new pokemons and see what i like about them, i already started to love each one of those.

I don't think the Dragon looks bug at all. The "mantis" thing that was posted on Serebii came from the time when all we had were really blurry, small pictures. I'm like 90% sure it isn't actually "mantis"-like. It looks to be more of a bearded dragon Pokémon with an axe head to me. All the Pokémon in that screenshot seem to be from the desert area, so it makes sense.

This is a bigger image so you can clearly see the face, no bug-like resemblance at all.

Stellar is right, it's obviously more dinosaur-like. the mole's head metal thing seems to look like a mask that can cover it's face, and you can see it's claws have faces on them. bad. ass.

by the way, could someone deduce what their names relate to in Japanese? maybe that could help shed some light on typing.

Seriously...some people think that black mannequin could potentially be a MAWILE evolution?! It seems like most people lose their brains during Pokemon hype, although I think I already knew that.

I doubt that thing will have any relationship with exisiting Pokemon (evolution wise). I feel absolutely certain about that...just wait.

Well, Scyther's face doesn't look too bug-like either. But yeah, you're probably right. After seeing this, I think Ononokusu will be based more on the frilled lizard...

Thoughts? Oh, and the frilled lizard lives in deserts, so that would tie in with your theory as well.

Please. Kitsunoh was rocking steel masks while this thing was still in diapers. Damn it, GameFreak...stop copying our CAPs!

agreeing with my stellar buddy here, dont look like a bug at all, though it does look pretty fucking epic.

he is probably the wild i-am-going-to-kill-and-eat-your-head pokemon i was waiting for.

Denchura (デンチュラ) is a combination of "tarantula" and "electric".
Ononokusu (オノノクス) comes from a variation of "to be feared" or "fear".
Doryuuzu (ドリュウズ) comes from "mole".
Desukaan (デスカーン) comes from "death" and "coffin".

Your probably right, because it has no huge nose.

You're right, it just has about 10 of them. xD

I really have no idea about the big nasty looking dragon-thing. It reminds me a bit of a centipede + mantis + dragon, but that's just me. It probably has Intimidate. I hope this isn't a Dragon/Steel pseudo legend with Intimidate, which is why I'm hoping for part bug (it may not even be dragon at all, though).

Magnezone-Jolteon-Dugtrio?
Magnezone discharges affectively healing Jolteon and has no need for Magnet Pull with Dugtrio's Arena Trap so Levitate can support the EQ weakness. Can probably set up a sub and kill some steels too. Sub, Discharge,HP Fire and Flash Cannon would be a viable moveset.
After a sub and discharge heal, Jolteon abuses Charge Beam and starts Discharging too. Discharge heal also covers for Life Orb damage. (Probably should run Sub, Charge Beam, HP Water/Shadow Ball and Discharge.)
Dugtrio provides Arena Trap, has Discharge immunity, and along with Magnezone provides EQ with only one solid target. Stealth Rock can be set up, Rock Slide abuse ensues, EQ when desperate and Sucker Punch/Shadow Claw to round it up.

I posted a few pages back but remember the rumour about the legendary trio silhouettes being like cotton, a dog and a bipedal animal?
The unamed trio we have seen could be those Pokemon.
Maybe the common thread is Yin/Yang their combos being Water/Grass, Fire/Steel and Dark/Psychic.
They're about opposing types being united in individual Pokemon.

The green monster in the double battle pic certainly has more reptilian than bug features.
I considered the red growths to be tusks but to some eyes they could be mandibles which would explain the reference to bugs.
Also, it's skin seems very hard and plated, almost like an exoskeleton.
So it might be an interesting type combination.

Hyper cutter would make sense with the axe thing it has going. hopefully it has a new unique ability.

...Magnezone can't have Levitate.

We'd have abused it to heck and back if that were the case.

Um quagsire mantine and vaporeon all spamming surf? DEADLY In the rain with choice scarfs? Bye bye win. Not to mention trick room and rain nothing would survive.

Magnezone doesn't have Levitate. If it did, all Magnezone sets would have it (unless you really want to destroy Skarm). Its other ability is Sturdy.

but does he got a beam sword and a laser rifle? can someone get inside his head and control him? does he work by battery? i dont think so.

if he does though then i will make sure to blow up the entire pokemon world with him.

edit:ok so weapons are stupid, but we need a steel type pokemon who actually dont look alive.

we have porygon and the regis. porygon is made by humans and the regis are golems, which means they were also made by humans.

if someone somehow made a mecha pokemon that wouldn't be too impossible...
