I really want a Dunsparce evo, tbqh. I mean, even the little tykes would awe when looking at a bad-ass yellow thing that was once a Dunsparce. D:

I also want a Kangaskhan evo, but we probably aren't going to get that.

I don't want a Dunsparce evolution. Not at all.

...

...I just want an exclusive hold item that boosts all his stats by 1.5x.

If anyone deserves it, it's Dunsparce.

I couldn't be more turned off by these seven new Pokemon. Call it a knee jerk reaction if you want, but I loved D/P even though I hated R/S so I'm guessing I just have some sort of discerning taste. But then again, I am biased on the matter.

PHP:
Fourth, I'm placing my bets that this is the main rival. The trailer shows you two, and another character, in a small cluttered room. Possibly your rival's? Shown here:

I am guessing this might be the protaganist mom who teaches you how to battle before you head off on your adventure

Its ok, there is a quote button

Forget about making all its stats go up. How about quintupling its speed and multiplying attack by 1.5 Togekiss of the new era!

That'd be... simply incredible. The standard flinching set's stats would equate to 565 HP / 393 Atk / 277 Def / 223 SpA / 277 SpD / 189 Spe. It's more physically defensive than your standard Regirock, and more specially defensive than Regice. Of course, you could boost the ridiculous even further by dumping more EV's into HP and your defenses, which would probably be the route to go. Even if it doesn't apply to HP, that's 377 HP to work with.

I hope this new generation revives Heracross and Gyarados. Maybe re-centralize the whole typing charts too.

Also, a Dunsparce evolution would be Flying/Normal since he gets access to Roost no? Hed have to be really fast to make good use of Serene Grace >.>

This, please. Make a move that totally screws over Steels and a powerful, physical, and widespread Electric move. I mentioned before new types of Pursuit could have a huge effect on Pokemon weak to that type. (Grass Pursuit would discourage the obligatory bulky water, e.g).

Dunsparce is the troll Pokemon if there ever was one so it would probably evolve into something crazy like Normal/Dragon. Gyarados could use a better physical Ice attack and Crunch might help out against Rotom-A as well.

As far as a good physical Electric move goes, I suggested an Electric move with 80 Base Power and +1 priority but would cause the user to be hit by any attack for the remainder of the turn. I figured it would be Electric due to possibly magnetizing the user's body.

Smash Circuit
BP: 80
Type: Electric
Physical
Accuracy: 100
PP: 15
Effect: The user moves first, but opponents' moves will be 100% accurate for the rest of the turn.

Smash Circuit sounds kind of weird, IMO, and sounds more like it would be used only by a machine. Also, I forgot to mention that I thought it could work by making the user's body magnetized and magnetizing the ground in certain intervals to act like a Linear Induction Motor.

Wouldn't that end up being Special, though? I can't really think of a practical way for it to make sense physically, but Pokemon attacks never really make sense. New name= Vector Slam?

Eartquake. Most common move ever. Bam. And for scizor, any fire move.

Yet Steels still dominate. I'm talking about a move that targets Steels specifically, like Water Sport targets fire types, but less sucky.
Off topic: Could there be a more ridiculous move than Water Sport? At least Splash doesn't pretend to be productive.

Regarding evolutions, they could easily implement something where a Pokemon can evolve by using a stone on them while they're holding a specific item.

Really though, all the stones need more recipients.

agreed, a couple more stone evos wont be too bad

your comment about colours made me think about some stuff.

will maybe some older generations(4 and below) be re-coloured? not different colours, for example do you think Lucario Blue will become a little bit darker to make more real or just the same shit, different sprite and/or moving?

edit:maybe not darker since i just checked and he is dark-blue enough already. maybe the other way around? anyway i think you guys get my point.

It has been done before: Jynx's skintone was changed from black to purple (It's gotten lighter over a couple gens iirc). Also, Gengar has become more dark purple/blue from DPP -> HGSS.

i am going to be very sad if the re-use all sprites from generation 4. each time a new generation come out i try to imagine the new sprites, did they re-used any sprite from gen 3 to 4?

why would they? between gens they've always updated the sprites. using gen3 DPP sprites against gen5 sprites would look bad. Thank god, gen4 pokemon need an update they look dated in HGSS even lol.

I'm excited for more well colored/shaded and detailed sprites, as well as dynamic sprites.

I don't want any more evos at all tbh. With every passing generation comes more terrible designs...the potential for ruination is extremely high.

Current rumors from a group that was already proven right three times state that one of my favorite pokemon, Tauros, is getting a minotaur evo...i am not happy about this at all. It's going to be wearing a dress or something.

Meh, that still sounds too computerized to me, but I can't come up with any better names anyway. The move would work by using magnetism to get the Pokemon up to a high speed and then ram straight into the opponent, which would make it physical.

Two words, Magnet Pull. Granted, Magnezone often can't effectively trap Steels like Metagross and Lucario (and Probopass straight up sucks), but they could always make another Magnet Pull Pokemon to combat Steels. I'd say Mud Sport is more useless because the only things that get it (besides Linoone, IIRC) are Ground types and Water Sport could give you a 4x resistance to Fire attacks and Electric attacks would still do squat after a Mud Sport, anyway. Gamefreak only made them to be used in Double Battles.

Edit: I just remebered something. Remember how those people predicted what the trio legends would look like and how they looked like three of the new Pokemon that just happened to be standing next to each other? I think (assuming the rumors were true) that those people saw the three Pokemon standing together in a triple battle and assumed that they were the legendary trio because triple battles weren't confirmed yet.

I think i just want less pokemon that evolve by trading. Alakazam is my favroite pokemon, so it really annoys me.

And on the new pokes, by the looks of it, most the pokemon will have cool types and can be interesting in competitive.

Moguryu (mole) looks normal ground maybe, Ononokusu (mantis) looks maybe bug dragon. Doryuuzu (bigger mole) is probly steel ground, Desukan (egyptian thing) is most likely ghost then something else, Denchura (spider) seems bug then maybe electric. Those other three seem like, the green one is ghost grass, the red + black one should be steel and maybe rock, and the goth is probly psychic and dark.

I can understand why people would want an Electric Physical priority move, but I'd much rather see more Special priority. Thus far we have Vacuum Wave, which is only useable on a few Pokemon, compared to all the Physical Priority (BP, Mach Punch, Aqua Jet, Ice Shard, Sucker Punch, Shadow Sneak, Quick attack and Extreme Speed). ...I think that illustrates my point - I want to see much more Special priority in this coming gen.

Just how long will it take for them to release the typing of the seven just released Pokemon? I'm hoping the Coffin, Mole, and Ghost bear Pokemon to be Ghost/Rock (Steel if it's suppose to be made out of gold), Steel/Ground, and Ghost/Grass respective.
