That badass should be a Liberty/Freedom dual type. And have "Democracy" as its 140-BP STAB.
I don't think it's a Mamepato evo. Doesn't make sense to me that they would show a silhouette of it. But it's clearly some kind of eagle. It looks kinda cool.

Hahahah, that thing looks really awesome. Could be Mamepato's evolution, but why would they hid it lol? Meh.

There's no way a disease-ridden, dirty, execrated, gluttonous pigeon would evolve in a majestic, noble, beautiful, majestic eagle.

The second I saw that silhouette it instantly reminded me of something I've seen before. I can't put my finger on it... but I finally remembered what is was:
It's Aquilamon!! (minus the horns and 3 back feathers)
Wait... minus the horns, 3 back feathers, similar talons, and the frill of feathers around its neck. If I had to guess, it could be a Fearow evolution, or a new bird line (it doesn't look similar enough to Mamepato, imo).
I don't think they would release a silhouette of an evo of a poke we already know about. It could be, like, the cover legendary version of the special edition game.
Not necessarily. After all, they silhouetted Hihidharma, Shimama, Mamepato, etc., and as far as we know there's nothing special about them.
Its face, claws, wings, beak, and body structure just remind me a LOT of Spearow (the beak of Fearow doesn't look the same, however). I do hope it is a new Pokemon, but I feel like it will be stuck with the same old Flying/Normal typing. Of course, it might have steel plates that we don't see indicating it is a Flying/Steel, or even the possibility of bands on its legs to indicate it is Flying/Fighting.

I don't even know what steam/smoke would have to do with being part-Ground... other than I guess as a boar it could like, huff out smoke or something to go along with being a Fire-type. Anyway, I would have been pissed if it had been anything other than Fire/Ground, since honestly, that was the only type that I could think of that would make sense and not conflict with Heatran and still be a good typing.
Also, dead sure Eaglemon isn't a Mamepato evo. To me, it just doesn't make sense that they would silhouette an evo of a Pokemon that's A) unimportant, B) is from this Gen, and C) already had its prevo shown as a silhouette...
