And Darn it normal flying :U
Hopefully it evolves into something else though
Does it say Normal/Flying on there?

Red, white, and blue eagle poke? Yes please!
Heck yeah Baby! Looks like
A: Either one wing is blue, one red, or
B:The undersides of the wings are blue, while the tops are red.

Free-fall was revealed to be a two-turn move where he grabs the opponent and drops them next turn I guess. I'm assuming that, since he's got possession of the opponents pokemon, that they would be immobile during Wargle's attack.

its color scheme is blue red white yellow
funny how they named it war eagle and gave it the colors of the american flag+yellow
(blue red white is on a lot more flags but still)

This Free-Fall move looks absolutely incredible. It has the potential to be a fantastic attack in double or triple battles. If I understand it correctly, both you and your target can't be hit while the move is going on, so you've effectively removed it from battle for a turn.

I'm hoping that the target can't act during the turn it's in the air. I'm also wondering whether the move will damage Pokémon with the Flying type or Levitate. If the move just drops the target, I'd say no, but then again Seismic Toss works against airborne Pokémon.

I just hope Fearow gets it. It would finally be something to really set it apart from Dodrio. Of course, Staraptor is likely to get it, too.

Yes, it is confirmed to be Normal/Flying. Can't you see the in game screenshot in the scan? Its right wing is red and its left is blue.

Anyways, my thoughts:

Wooguru: Really cool, although the color scheme is pretty lame imo. Free Fall will be good if both you and the opponent go into the air, so they can't escape that turn.

Rankurusu: Pure Psychic-type isn't bad at all, one of its abilities is Magic Guard. We all know how good Clefable is just because of the ability, so hopefully we will see a less balanced and more focused sweeper or tank with Magic Guard.

Musharna: See, it's not a Drowzee prevo :). I'm glad they are keeping its tapir appearance, I can see it evolving once more and extending its legs fully.

Koromori: Hmm, please be a mini-Lugia as oppose to a Xatu with more HP. The typing isn't amazing, but it could work.

It's ability is Encourage which negates secondary effects.

Can you say No Recoil Brave Bird?

I like it already.

Gamefreak wouldn't make it good. It would most likely just remove secondary effects that benifet the user, like flinch, status, and stat drops.

I'm pretty sure we've reached the conclusion that recoil most likely would not be prevented by Encourage, but things like paralysis, etc would. Recoil isn't a "secondary effect," but rather a result of using the attack.

And yes, the B/W excitement has made me decide to stop lurking. Woot.

seems like it's catered around Double/Triple battles, and stopping an opponent from doing anything that turn. hopefully it's fast enough to make use of it.

also, I like this Pokemon's design. it's Normal/Flying, which is boring, and I expected something a little more original, but I guess it makes sense being based off an Eagle and whatnot. it has encourage which hopefully is as good of an ability as we think it is (it probably is).

I'm more interested in Musharna. it really doesn't look any different from Munna; it's asleep and has a different colour scheme. everything else is the same, bar the smoke from it's head, and it's limbs/nose being a little longer. this Dream Smoke thing seems like Heart Scales, where they serve a purpose, but the Pokemon itself does not. disappointing, since Munna had a ton of potential.

Nah I couldn't really tell for sure form the Picture.

The new images on Serebii, Make the new chipmunk look actually cool, his eyes are freaky, almost like Hypno Toad.

Well if it is special based then it can abuse STAB Air Slash, which could do some major damage if the Encourage boost is substantial. If it is physical, then Body Slam will do some damage. If the boost isn't as substantial as I think, or if it works for all moves and not just moves with secondary effects, then Return will be hurting a lot from this guy.

Whoooooooa, we're back!

Yea, anyone else notice the green guy named N? Seems that guy's rumors have all come true! (Am I missing a few?)

Also, White Forest and Black City = what we predicted earlier.

Cheren looks like a girl to me.... and looks related to Aragi's lab friend.

Now that smogon is back I'm just going to recap my thoughts on the new stuff.

Focusing on Koromori: I like Psychic/Flying. Hopefully if koromori evolves it'l get even better stats than it already has (it has pretty good hp if it's stage 1). It's signiture move might attract people?

As for Free Fall I predicted a charge move (a fly with more damage and recoil) but this is even better :) Also nice that it gets Encourage

Speaking of abilities, very happy that we get another person with magic guard :D Clefable was getting lonely.

Only thing I didn't like here was the munna evo but...I tend to not like everything about munna .-.

Am I the only one that finds it ridiculous they didn't make loli at least part Dark? Same goes with Koromori, who, for the record, I liked a lot better from the back.

On a positive note, Wooguru looks pretty badass, although I'm afraid it's unrelated to Mamepato. If that's the case we have two Normal/Flying bird lines. That just seems unnecessary unless their movepools are totally different, or maybe Mamepato is a defensive bird like some have been speculating.

Also, I'm very interested in the final stage of the Munna line. Which I'm 90% sure exists [/wishfulthinking].

Oh also, did they just reveal 3 fucking Psychic types? Jesus christ. I hope Musharna and Rancorous have a dual typing at least, remember when Chatot was just revealed as a flying type? And in the page with N it shows him getting in a battle with you, so if he's not the rival then Idunno what, or maybe (holy shit) we're actually getting some important NPC's for once that aren't Gym Leaders/Elite 4 members.

Koromori is so weird <___<

It's pretty awesome that White Forest and Black City exist, seems to really go with the nature vs. industry theme we've been seeing throughout this generation.

I want to know the full extent of encourage.

I don't think Munna's line will have another evolution, if it did I don't know why they'd bother with giving dream smoke to Musharna. Also, did anyone else notice that in the picture with Musharna, Munna looks more... cream coloured than Pink?

Kibago: The more I see of him, the less I think it evolves into Axhead.

Minezumi: THOSE EYES! He might suck at battling, but at least he''ll look cool doing it. No wonder he learns hypnosis.

Koromori: Ug. That thing is ridiculous looking. It looks like an ugly baby. Hopefully it'll evolve into something that's not so silly.

Black City/White Forest: They're probably nothing more than the places where we find the legends.

Beru/Cheren: Looks like there could be an anime style love triangle going on. The ditzy childhood friend and the crazy tsundere. Interesting.

War Eagle: Do want. Hopefully it'll be really fast to take advantage of Free Fall in doubles/triples. Free Fall War Eagle + a Fake out user + Dragon Dancer = a pretty good start off combo.

The only ones left are "Team Plasma" and "there will be a method to transfer pokémon from 4th Gen and it has some kind of minigame to befriend the pokémon".

According to that summary we got from 2ch yesterday, those two are also correct.

Freefall seems useful for stalling as well.
You can drag out the battle for extra turns of residual damage and invulnerability and your opponent can't switch out of the move.
