Unfortunately the DS only supports WEP. However, if you have a Mac connected via Ethernet to your Airport Extreme running WPA, you can share a WEP connection with your DS (I do this).

As far as base power is concerned, yes.
Kyogre's Water Spout:
150 (BP) * 1.5 (Rain) * 1.5 (STAB) = 337.5
Lickilicky's Explosion:
300 (BP) * 1.5 (STAB) = 450
Plus, Explosion and Selfdestruct halve the Defense stat of the opposing Pokémon while calculating damage, meaning that Lickilicky's Explosion has an effective base power of 900!
It's rounded down.
Does Choice Specs raise Special Attack +1 or does it apply a multiplier of 1.5?
I was using Crocune in a battle one time and had two Calm Minds, then proceeded to use surf. Then, my opponent tricked a Choice Specs onto it while it was attacking, so there are two possibilities:
2 calm minds (+2) + choice specs (+1) = +3 (2.5x)
or
2 calm minds (+2) x choice specs (1.5) = 3x multiplier
so is the resulting stat boost 2.5 or 3?

Misdreavus is correct regarding Base Power, but I decided to do some damage calcs to demonstrate it in-battle, factoring in attack stats. Mew takes neutral damage from both attacks and has even defenses. I set the weather to rain.

So, I just managed to breed a Vulpix with 31 IV's in speed and 31 IV's in Sp. Atk.
I want it to have the moveset: Hypnosis, Flamethrower, Energy ball and Nasty Plot (standard)
The Vulpix does have hypnosis, but I have no idea how to get Nasty Plot on there. I know that Ninetales supposedly learns it from start, but it doesn't learn it when i evolve it! Can someone explain this to me?

So I heard this from my friend who isn't one to make up stuff, but I haven't heard it before so I'm double checking here. He said that mono type pokemon have a stronger STAB (1.75 instead of 1.5). Is this true?

I prefer Shadow ball, however Sucker punch would probably serve you better in the long run.

Bulky offense. They all work decently for stall, however they all have easily exploitable weaknesses, so you would be better off getting as much damage as possible from them, except for blissy.

Yesterday, I battled the trainers in the Viridian City Trainer House, then returned from a Pokéwalker stroll. During that stroll, I had connected with several people. I set out on a new stroll. Today, all of the trainers in the Trainer House are exactly the same as they were before I resynched. What's the deal? Why weren't they "updated?"
