Frank's brother, catch a male Hoothoot and get it to level 9. Get a female Zubat. Breed them in the Daycare before Goldenrod city, and when the egg hatches, name it Sparta, and it must keep Hypnosis.
 
Frank Ripley, your brother can take a Kingler nicknamed Eugene. One of its moves has to be Metal Claw by the time he battles the Elite 4. The Kingler can't forget Metal Claw until your brother gets all the Kanto Gym Badges.

Cyndaquil, cant soft reset for it, if shiny (cmon!) name it Sparkles, male name it Ty, female name it Cyndy. It must learn Ember by Sprout Tower, must solo the Bellsprouts in the tower with Ember alone to be used against Falkner, must be Quilava by Azalea, must be Typhlosion by the league.

Koffing (Koffing)
Onix named Goliath. he has to evolve it before it fights Jasmine (metal coat is a pokethlon prize on fridays, 2500 points), and it has to always know rock polish.

Remember this is his first playthrough, so dont make it really rough just because you see the user "Frank Ripley" "OMG Frank get a Sunkern, cant evolve and must solo Lance!" -_- Nuttin' like that please haha.

@Frank Ripley, use a Koffing, nickname must stay Koffing even if it evolves. You must teach it Selfdestruct at level 19, and replace it with Explosion before the Elite 4. Optionally, Koffing may not evolve until it kills a Ghost-type with Selfdestruct or Explosion. (you may capture a Sentret/Furret to complete this challenge, if necessary)

It must evolve into Umbreon and have at least one Dark move, one non-attacking move and one move that isn't Dark or of the attacking style of the Dark move (ie. if the Dark move is Dark Pulse, this move cannot be special or Dark typed). The other move slot is whatever he wants.

Don't forget that the Koffing needs to know Selfdestruct at level 19, and must replace Selfdestruct with Explosion before the Elite 4.

An example of such a move set:
Dark Pulse (TM79) [Dark Sp]
Confuse Ray (L29 Umbreon) [Ghost St]
Psychic (TM29) [Psychic Sp]
Bite (L29 Eevee) [Dark Ph]
(Here if you want Bite and Confuse Ray, evolve Eevee at Level 29 exactly, or evolve at a later level then use Heart Scale to get Confuse Ray.)

Now everyone starts ganging up on me. Fine. In that case, i'll just make sure to give you something nigh impossible next time, Dexington. Like, say, using a pokemon from a honey tree to solo Flint in Sinnoh. Or somethign else hard like that.

Well... I can't argue on the original aspect of it... It's certainly different...?

So far:
Joey, the Sudowoodo (solo Gardenia)
KLUTZ, the Dratini (T.Wave for 'Air, Outrage for 'Nite)
Bloat, the Quilfish (Waterfall, Pin Missile, Revenge, Stockpile, must solo Byron or can't be used in E4)
Pachrisu, the Voltorb (Solos Roark without Sonic Boom or Super Effective HP, then only electric moves)
Bocephus, the Chimchar (Must have ember, solo Jupiter to be Monferno, solo Saturn to be Infernape)
Chargin', the Carnivine (never lowest level, not allowed more than one move per type)
 
it's mainly because you give people challenging challenges, not fun ones :/ like mattman said in the threadstarter, this isn't a nuzlocke run, it's not supposed to make you lose hair over it. (to you "only electric attacks" pachirisu may sound fun, to others it's like being given a $hitpile to deal with :P)

oh and honey tree solo for flint doesn't sound that hard. ambipom, if it can outrun everything, could possibly solo flint if it can survive infernape (i think it has machpunch). snorelax could eat everything for breakfast if it has curse :P if you want it to be impossible then make it a bug/grass type from the honey tree solo.

OT i'm gonna try a hustle purely physical togekiss solo run xD lets see how that works out (i hope togepi doesn't die too often in the beginning, an early togetic would be great)

Although, yeah, the electric Pachirisu doesn't fall into the above category.

Also, since you were able to pull it off, it's not that hard. I actually relied on a electric Pachirisu on my first run. It did have other moves, but i only mainly used Discharge. It actually wasn't that hard, tbh. Granted, i was focused on 3 pokes mostly, with 3 HM Slaves, so my levels were a bit higher, but electric Pachirisu isn't bad, as long as you start training it from around Valley Windworks time. Then it will be levelled enough to be decent. Considering the plethora of Golbats flying around, Pachirisu isn't that hard to train either. Just go into a Galactic Building.

Actually, f*** it, i'm ditching the crappy pokemon that has to solo Roark on mine, i'll take an electric attacks only Pachirisu. Happy now, Paradox808?

Oh, and btw, one more condition on your Togepi: No King's Rock. :)

Haha, it's the name of my old dog.

Update: I was cruisin through the game leveling my newly caught female Burmy, destroying things with Vagoo(Bidoof)'s Yawn+Defense Curl+Rollout combo, making Maylene cry with Captain (Meditite's confusion). Then I plugged in my DS charger, got up, and it pulled my DS off my bed onto the floor. No big deal, right? Well the game froze, and I had to reset. The last time I saved was before catching a female Burmy, getting to Veilstone City, beating Maylene, and much of Team Galactic. That basically took me all day, although I never played for more than a few minutes at a time. So now I have to wait 10 hours or so and PRAY I find a female Burmy on a Honey Tree, because going back and forth to all the trees is annoying without Fly. Not to mention it set me back 6 levels or so on all my Pokes.
 
Happened to me just before Sunyshore City. Lost about 2 levels or so on a few pokes. Not too big of a deal, luckily.

Oh, and a name for the electric attacks only Pachirisu.
 
my apologies if i sounded rude treadshot, i was just trying to find an explanation as to why everyone is giving you absurdly hard challenges :(

also i'm not saying onlyelectricattacks pachirisu is impossible, it's just really hard being restricted to electric attacks, since pachirisu isn't the greatest damage dealer unless it's against things like flyers and watertypes (45 base spatk ftl >_>). super fang would've helped out so much if i coulda used it in my run.

name it ardilla, which is squirrel in spanish i believe. have fun with your new mexican partymate.

I'll be attempting a Scramble run of FireRed after I finish my mono-poison playthrough (shouldn't take long).

Rules:
1. One person MUST suggest a starter Pokemon.
2. I can't trade, Pokesav, or hack in any way.
3. Based on the above statements: no specific natures or multiple Pokemon required to run the same buy-only TM move. Same for hold items.

Okay, take the first wild pokemon you see, as soon as you can catch. Then, name it Michel (you can't fit in Michelangelo, so this will have to do). It must be the second highest level pokemon at all times. Have it solo one of Misty's pokemon.

Oh, and a suggestion: For Dummy007's challenge, name all pokemon after Renaissance artists, or better known as the TMNT. lol

Oh yes, i've managed to get other people doing scrambles (all credited to Smogon, of course), which means i get to give out more insanely hard 3rd gen Ralts challenges (that's my favorite for the 3rd gen, Pachirisu for the 4th gen, etc.)! Actually, i've had it nicknamed Paradox808. lol
 
take a drowzee, name it Donatello (in shiny form it's purple/pink. AWESOME)

it must have poison gas, only to be replaced by toxic. to evolve from drowzee to hypno, it must have eaten at least 4 calciums, and 1 zinc (so it can be EXTRA STRONG and smart :P) remember everyone, eat your vitamins.

The next three Pokemon for Dummy007 should be named Raphael, Splinter, and Shredder (if Male) or April (if Female), to complete the set :P
