Ahhhh I can't wait for the "Arceus" of the generation to be reveiled. I have an animation I'm working on that will be a fight scene between Deoxsy and said legendary. How long do you think it will be before it's leaked/reveiled? How long did it take Arceus to be showen in 4th gen?

First day of hacking: base stats+typing -> level-up movepool;
Second day: party icon -> TM/HM movepool;
Third/fourth day: name -> ability's name+description;
A couple days: how the ability worked -> plates;
A couple weeks: in-game event.

@ Lucalibur- Well, Base 85 speed is nothing to take easily, so maybe around 95-100 or so?

if is not fast then its not worth using. while this may sound stupid at first its because most pokemons sitting at gengar base speed(or lower) got eletric moves that easily ohko him, he either outspeed them and ko before eating a t-bolt or die. i would rather stick with the first option.

Well, I'm actually curious about the typing. I mean, GF didn't give Golduck Water/Psychic, either. And that's in a gen where they already had two Water/Psychic lines. Maybe this isn't his destiny?
I'm thinking of the following possibilities:
- Lucario-style Fighting type. Golduck is described as a supreme swimmer. Poliwrath got Fighting typing pretty much for this. xD
- Ghost/Dark: Afaik Golduck is based upon some sea monster or something. Psychic abilities also tend to be related to Ghosts in Pokemon, so why not? Didn't we all want a Water/Ghost since... forever? =)

Anyone think lolligoth and homoncublob will evolve into the first psychic/dark and psychic/ghost types, respectively? Both are believable typings and they are counterpart pokemon.

Base stats (and types) were leaked a few days before D/P's release I think, as the games themselves were leaked. Otherwise that sounds about right.

I wouldn't go that far.. If B/W do leak, they'll probably only leak by 1, 2 or 3 day(s). Just before the official release of D/P we got a wall of text that looked something like

#491 Dark 70/90/90/135/90/125
#492 Grass 100/100/100/100/100/100
#493 Normal 120/120/120/120/120/120

Except with all of the new Pokemon's dex number, type and base stats. No abilities or movepools or even names iirc. It took about a week for all that information to be assembled I believe. And then it took a bit longer to understand how some of the abilities functioned.

But when I said "first day", I was taking into account the rom leak too. Unless you mean the Base Stat chart leaked before even the rom?

Yeah, I remember that. After staring at it for a while, I figured out, "Hey, this is a Magneton evo. This is a Lickitung evo. Etc." Good times.
