Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

I've got another question: i can't found this spread in the time finder capture DPPt (Seed: 000a0292 - Method J - Frame: 13671 - Synch: Yes - Nature: Naive - 30/31/30/30/31/31 - No Shiny), but in the main screen of the RNGReporter is, why?

[I prefer to control in the DPPt Capture, because I've fear that the frame is wrong.]

I've been having a problem with my shiny egg. I'm aiming for a shiny Jolly 'mon with ability 1. My seed is C9170258, delay is 590 and frame is 7. I checked my seed with the roamers, and then called Joey 3 times which was supposed to bring my on frame 7, but instead of a Jolly nature I got a Relaxed one. Any ideas why?

Still need help please...

Look for an online dec to hex converter or whatever converter you need.

Faladran, you can get non-shiny eggs by doing all the same steps for a shiny, except you remove your SID/OT from those boxes on Time Finder and leave them blank.

Having yet another problem. When I don't hit my delay, I hit my seed, which is C9170258. When I hit my delay, I don't hit my seed, I hit CA170258. Anyone knows what's going on?

Is it possible to get a perfect IV spread with Jolly nature...on a wondercard Jirachi...? I've read somewhere that the Jolly Nature worked different...or something, vague memory. I know that the nature is randomly generated when dealing with wondercard (or are they...dunno) or it is already preset.

I spent some time experimenting with this, and it definitely is. I used either D2140289 or 52140289 for my seed(perfect 31 IVs- can't remember which I used) and just kept hitting the seed and grabbing perfect Jirachis of different natures. The delay is like 639 if I remember correctly, and it was on frame 116.

I've become very good at DPPt rng breeding (although its been a while), but I am having trouble with doing it in HGSS.

My problem is that every time I enter my elm responses into the Seed to Time/ Adjacent Finder to verify my seed, it comes up with no results. I tried widening the search and it gives me nothing again or inconsistent, distant results.

Okay, thanks. :)

Edit: Not to post again, what's the Method for Wondercard Pokes? I assume it would be Method 1.

Method 1 +2 frames. If you had a seed, say for example 52140289, that is usually good on frame 114, you would shoot for 116 instead. You can use the "Wondercard IVs" option in RNG Reporter o check it out, too.

BTW, that seed I used as the example is normally a 6-31s timid seed, but it will give you perfect IVs with any nature for wondercard pokes with random natures, too.

It is Wondercard IVs. Should be bottom of the list using RNGReporter 8.3.0.

its possible, but its incredibly difficult, i've been trying for it for a while now, still no luck. but don't let that stop you though, its wondercard method in rng reporter and has a starting frame of 1.
just do what you did for mewtwo and you'll be fine. but you should probably learn to advance frames with the radio ^^

I've been trying for a while as well, but all I got were neutral natures and gentle, calm, careful, naive. I've hit the frame at least...a couple dozen times, yet the only natures I got...were those...And yea, I've been advancing my frame with Pokemon Talk, speeds it up a loooot. Thanks for being so helpful though.

I have encountered this oddity on using Sweet Scent while surfing. Whenever I hit the right delay, the Pokemon is constant. Why is this so? I tried to change my position and change the time, but the Pokemon I encounter remains the same.

Then the frame your hitting has a certain encounter slot. No matter what position your character is facing, so long as you hit the same frame in the same area (ie same part of a cave, route, etc) you will always encounter that pokemon.

To check encounter slots, right click on the spread in RNG Reporter when it is set to Method K and select Calculate Encounter Slots. Then see the number beside Sweet Scent while surfing, click the corresponding link, and use the search feature on the web-page to see every encounter slot your target pokemon has. Then find a frame who's encounter slot matches to one of the ones your target has.

Thank you for assistance. This must be the reason I messed up in PokeRadar Abuse.

If you're radar abusing, it's usually better just to ignore the slots imo. When you start chaining they get all mixed up and you just have to hope for the best if you can hit your frame. Good luck :D

Is it possible to RNG a shiny Latios in soul silver? I have a shiny pokemon I caught naturally in my soul silver game so I know my SID . .but I have no idea how to go about RNGing a roamer. .is it the same as a stationary pokemon?
