It also has a horn on its head and red eyes. I hope it is this generations pseudo-legendary, and that it's pure Dragon, but it looks more Dragon/Dark to me.
 
I think it's gonna be dark/dragon, doesn't it's name mean 'To be feared'? Sounds dark to me. Also, I'm almost 100% sure it's based on like, a frilled lizard or something, no way in hell it's a mantis, and I'm gonna bet it evolves from Kibago, just look at it's freakin eyes. <__<

As for battle mechanics, I highly doubt evasion and accuracy will get their own stat slots because we've already seen screens of stat pages.

Also, this hasn't really been discussed but... come on guys, fucking ROTATION BATTLES.

I'm not really hoping for anything other than Triple Battles and Rotation Battles, I think stats and moves are fine as they are...

@MWL: lolwut, espeon gets calm mind anyway and jolteon has charge beam, the rest couldn't care less about Sp.Atk (except glaceon maybe...)
 
Eevee getting Growth again would mean they could bring back other older-gen exclusive moves like Hypnosis Misdreavus and Baton Pass Zapdos which would make me happy and I know I'm seriously reaching here but let me dream ok ~__~


Now being a bit more serious, unless silly Pokéjungle translated that info wrongly, I'm sure those Eeveelutions will have a new move. It's said the Eeveelutions themselves (not the event per se) have a secret, so it's either an event-only move for each one (no, Flareon should NOT get Flare Blitz, people), or a single move for all of them (Growth, for example).

It's the word for axe, the word for "to shake violently" and the ending sound for various dinosaurs' names.

Sounds pretty dark to me. It looks to me it will have Aggron-like stats, but possibly in reverse. If it keeps Mold Breaker it'll be pretty threatening.

I don't know, could be another Glalie situation where it seems like it should be dark, but isn't.

Personally I don't see it as being related to Kibago, and see it as Rock/???
Maybe Rock/Steel although now I'm warming up to Rock/Dark.

I'm predicting 90/130/100/90/90/90. That thing looks faster than Ttar but I don't think they'll have ANOTHER dragon with 100-102 speed.

I was thinking less Sp. Atk in exchange for more Defense, since it looks pretty well armoured.

It does look faster than T-tar though, and by the looks of it, it might get Rock Polish and Swords Dance. I'm hoping it won't have that typical 4x Ice weakness, too.
 
I suppose we have not much longer until all our questions are answered, with the Japanese release coming up. I'm sure some people over there won't hesitate to complete it within a few days and reveal tons of information. =P

Dragon/Fighting sounds pretty badass, especially considering it looks like it will have huge Attack.

By the way, somebody probably already noticed this, but on the Japanese B/W website there is a picture of Rankurusu and its stats. Looks like it has high Special Attack and Special Defense and really slow Speed. Here: http://www.pokemon-sp.jp/series/bw/#/pokemon/new/pk012.html

Don't kill me if this has already been shown, but I didn't want to look through all 109 pages to check if somebody had.

That's awesome, I hadn't seen that. And I want B&W to have two pokemon: A new Ice/Fighting one, and a Dragon/Fighting. Then give the Ice one Ice Punch, Close Combat, EQ, and Night Slash, and the Dragon one Dragon Pulse, Aura Sphere, Fire Blast, and Thunder/Grass Knot, or a physical movepool with beast Speed and Attack/Sp. Atk.
EDIT: And a good partner for Ranku in trick room will of course be my little awesome friend, Octillery :D

It was posted on last thread and christ we're on page 109 already holy shit


But it doesn't mean *much*. We can see its stat "tendency", but we cannot say for sure its Base Stats. First, we do not have its level. And second, you can see on Gochiruzeru's page that Rankurusu had 183 HP at level 50. That's quite the difference.

unless it's actually 153...

Whichever it is, that's pretty high at Lv. 50, and it looks like it will be able to take neutral Special Attacks like a pro. That could make it quite easy to switch in.
 
Ice/Fighting... as long as it's fast it could be pretty damn dangerous.

Also, I noticed on Kibago's page that Munna has 144 HP at Lv. 50... and it even has an evolution after that.

Don't know why this shit of a page posted my post 3 times.
Fast and Powerful, because a lot of priority moves would ruin it if it had a focus sash, i.e Bullet Punch. And Munna's evo will have a ton of HP.
 
I think it's a Stantler pre-evo and Stantler will get an epic evolution. Basically Stantler will get what Roselia got this Generation. =D
