Growth improvement is decent, but I just checked out who learns Growth and that fastest is Shaymin at Base 100 =/ Considering Grass's weaknesses, it'd be hard to imagine a tank either. It'd probably be best for a Chlorophyll user.

Edit: Forgot about Roserade, but it wouldn't be really useful for him. Guess Venusaur could use it in UU. Also Breloom to boost that ridiculous Atk stat?

Edit two: Breloom has Swords Dance so nvm
 
So Shell Blade is a water version of Crush Claw? Not bad, weaker than waterfall but only by 5 BP, and it's secondary effect isn't bad at all.

Abomasnow has Sword Dance for that. Growth's "improvement" isn't that huge considering that does who need an attack boost already learn Sword Dance. Had Growth increased [Sp]Atk by +2 then we could say that's a good thing.

Still, not that bad of an option, better off then it was at least.
 
Give Sceptile growth and I'll be happy, boosted leaf blades and earthquakes and leaf storms etc. etc. <3

Venusaur already has growth but this'll sure make him better, and he'll be even more of a beast in UU if he doesn't go OU.
 
The problem there is that sceptile is not a plant nor does it have a ridiculously large flower or fungal body (seriously why was paras lumped into grass anyway) on it like Venusaur and Parasect do.
 
I don't care for more grass types, but I'd like to see Grass get a boost somehow. But we already got Leaf Storm, Energy Ball, and Swords Dance as wide distribution. What else could they add?
 
Spore is wielded by pokemon with fungal fruiting bodies on them; it doesn't seem to be a normal thing for grass types (unlike sleep powder... eh 75 acc. is far from terrible)
 
Power Whip and Wood Hammer are both physical (Bleh) and Leaf Storm is 140 and has that huge draw back and Seed Flare... Seed Flare is broken.

I mean like, Fire Blast, Hydro Pump etc.

I prefer physical myself. Seems like most grassers get swords dance

Have you heard anybody say focus blast is broken?

Anyway, Leaf Storm is actually pretty good, though more distribution of power whip would also be nice
 
Psychic types need some love. Psychic being the strongest (I do believe, though I might stand corrected) STAB, they really need a nice strong Psychic-based attack (Physical or even Special would do). Same with Dark types. Though Sucker Punch is very very useful.

It is sort of broken. It has more accuracy than Hydro Pump/Fire Blast/Thunder and has a chance of lowering the targets Sp Def, not to mention the Pokemon that gets it along with STAB.

Or at least makes Hydro Pump/Fire Blast work better in the Rain/Sun, while Solarbeam has a higher base power for it to actually be better in the Sun.
