Glaceon and Walrein can now run Sub-Protect for 64 turns of hail damage, taking 4 non-leftovers non-ice pokes down DX

What is Glaceon going to set up on, though? I mean, if people really wanted to, they could already run Glalie w/Ice Body and it would perform just about the same way (except it's faster, and less bulky). Glaceon doesn't resist Water, so it can't come in on bulky waters as easily. Plus, Walrein has that beefy HP to work with to make 101+ HP Subs. I think, like someone mentioned earlier, Ice Body will be helpful for the Choice Scarf set to regain lost HP. The Fake Tears set has Wish for recovery, anyways, and would rather have Snow Cloak to occasionally avoid attacks from the likes of Grumpig or whatever.

What I'm waiting for are the abilities the other Eeveelutions get.

Did people really think the sarcophaghost would get a high speed? I just think it's going to be a dusknoir clone with stats (But cooler). Low HP, High Defenses, Low Speed, and either high Attack or Special Attack. Maybe both, even.

I think it'll be either Ghost/Ground or Ghost/Rock, like most people have suggested already. Just watch, GF is going to ruin all of our dreams and give it Ghost/Poison type for some reason.

Someone mentioned the Coffin being Ghost/Ground...well he/she might be right on the ball there. Let's considered the fact that of all the possible types Drill Liner could be Rock, Ground, or Steel is the most possible. Now since the move hit the Coffin for neutral damage, assuming the coffin doesn't have Levitate as it's ability and Drill Liner was one of the following three types the following outcome of these would be.

Drill Liner was Rock type:
Ghost/Steel is Resisted to it
Ghost/Ground is Resisted to it
Ghost/Rock is neutral to it.

Drill Liner was Ground type:
Ghost/Steel is 2x weak to it (minus Levitate)
Ghost/Ground is neutral to it
Ghost/Rock is 2x weak to it (minus Levitate)

Drill Liner was Steel type
Ghost/Steel is Resisted to it
Ghost/Ground is neutral to it
Ghost/Rock is 2x weak to it

Of the three typings, Ghost/Ground seems like the most possible typing for this Pokemon when considering it was hit by a neutral move. If it had Levitate as it's ability Ghost/Rock could be a possibility but my gut tells me it's a Ghost/Ground type.

Of the three typings, Ghost/Ground is the only one who keep the neutral hit status of all three. If it had Levitate as it's ability Ghost/Rock is a possibility but my guy tells me it's a Ghost/Ground type.

The thing is, Drill Liner did damage to Desukan, implying it does not have Levitate. Therefore we can exclude a possible Ghost/Steel or Ghost/Rock if Drill Liner is in fact one of those three types. The problem is, we don't know what type Desukan is. I'm betting on Ghost/Ground as well, though.

Count me in for Ghost/Ground, although that means that if it is bulky I hope it doesn't get shut down by toxic, please have a counter for it..

While certainly possible, it is interesting that the two revealed so far are weather-based abilities. Perhaps a new rain based ability?
I think that's kind of a leap. We only know two of them, afterall.

Really what I'm most interested in is what Espeon & Umbreon will get.

you know gamefreak: chances are they are giving only gen 4 abilitys to the eevolutions.

edit: maybe bloodgod22, but we dont know for sure yet.

Ghost/Ground means it has a STAB for the most prominent ghost pursuiter: Ttar =D

If it at least has 70 base speed, then Tyranitar will have a hard time dealing with this Ghost.

Yeah, im starting to think Ghost/Ground is his typeing afterall....

What im hopeing for is if it learns SR, Spikes or Toxic Spikes.

Spikes would be really cool, but I don't think they really make sense for him. I mean, Sandslash doesn't even get them, why would Desukan? Being able to set up Stealth Rock AND block Rapid Spin is a niche we do not have yet (we do have Froslass for Spikes).

Greetings everyone! Nearly one month to wait before 5th generation arrives in Japan! Hmmm. Some new Interesting factors is the new strength of the ability sturdy which now allows the pokemon with that ability to hang on with 1 hp from any attack so long as thier hp was full( a built in focus sash... Is that fair?) New Abilities for the eons, and some cool new in game features like TMs Don't Disapear any more!!!! I almost had a Heart attack of joy when I saw An aunt jimima like Gym leader by the name of areol I belive. Sniff.. I'm so proud of pokemon and game freak company, it took them 16 years to start adding trainers of a different RACE!!!

i would not consider amazing but its useful to counter back status, not like espeon enjoy any of them though.

what i really want to see right now is smugleaf full evo tree, im sick tired of thinking what he can evolve into.

Tombs inside of pyramids are often booby traps, and if it's a ground type, I can see at least SR happening.

Me too, they couldn't even give Tsutaja's highest stat? Lame -__-

I always despised Glaceon's DP sprite, but seeing it in motion makes it look soooooo much better. I noticed Leafeon's is re-used from DP, hopefully I'll feel the same way about it. ;_;

Chlorophyll Leafeon would be the shizz.

Honestly, I'm kind of bummed to see Sandstorm getting so many buffs. Hail and the Ice type in general need a lot of help. The easiest way to counter sandstorm would be run it yourself or use a rain team. In which case water types are going to be even more popular.
