Icepick, you inspire me hardcore! I guess I'll be making a quick entry for this after all. :B

My FAV part about that pic is how you did the magikarp. VERY elegant in its simplicity, really loving it! Nicely done.
 
icepick, that is frickin' amazing. I love the way the light comes through the water and the way the magikarp look rustic and real.

Fatecrashers' entry from a couple pages back is mad. The bold and slightly cartoonish style is aesthetic pleasing.

Well, "Dragon's Den" sounds like a seedy bar to ME.

Oh god, dual-monitors are awesome until you realize the massive color discrepancy between them. It sure was fun to see how this pic was affected between the two.

Inspired to do something cuz of icepick's.

Shinxe I am loving your entry. Strangely enough this is very similar to a concept I had before I settled on an underwater scene instead, except mine was going to have a Dragonite bouncer checking Gible's ID. Your execution of the concept is amazing and the oriental look of the painting fits the theme of Dragon's Den perfectly.

Shinxe that is amazing. I love the clever signature you made on that fence post and how you made the pokemon seem like humans. Can't wait to see more from you.

Here is my entry​

When I think of the dragon's den, I always have thought about this 'magical' peaceful place, where all dragon pokemon live. o that is what I tried to make.
I made it look liek a book, where they describe this magical place. I also made this stupid hidden refences to gragon pokémon, like that the cave actually looks like a mouth a little bit (when you are in the mouth and look back to the outside)​

I finally found a good tutorial to paint with GIMP, the tutorial was how to paint a peer in 1 hour (so it was so borng) but after 15 minutes I think it get what the technique was. And I'm really happy I tried the technique, this image is the first one I made that I actually liked.​

Might update it a little bit...
And should I make the image smaller? It looks a little too big​
