Next month’s CoroCoro issue will focus on Doryuuzu, Desukan, Emonga, Basurao, Tabunne, Darumakka, Aoika, and Wakoiasu. [Those last two are not pokemon we've heard of before]

I really hope this is true because I want to see the front of Desukan soooooo bad.

Desukan is Ground/Ghost. Rumor says there is only 1 in the game and you encounter it north of Hiun City in the desert. Apparently there is an underground pass you must go through and Desukan blocks it. [Sudowoodo much?] When it’s lid is open it looks like a transparent mummy-ish ghost inside.

And I can see this as beong very true,it doesnt seem like a Pokemon that there would be alot of,like Spiritomb

Notice how the three worst (if you can even call them that, HA) dragons start off without a Dragon-type? Swablu is Normal/Flying, Trapinch is Ground, and Horsea is Water. Well Kibago is Dragon, which means its family is probably the pseudo-legend line.

Altaria is pretty lame, yeah... But I've always liked Flygon and Kingdra. They're both very... Balanced.
Flygon is definitely a dragon in my book. Kingdra is too, even though he seems more of a water type that conveniently takes neutral hits from grass and electric moves.

It'd be kind of nice to see some more non-pseudo legendary dragons hanging around. Or just more dragons in general. They're kind of over-hyped really >_>

Reasons that Dento is likely a Grass-type user and most likely has a Tsutaaja, from most solid to weakest.

+He shouts out for his Pokémon to use Solarbeam in the Video released yesterday.

+The background used when he declares an attack is green.

+Said background is identical to when Tsutaaja attacks in a previous video.

+The spotlight that shines down upon him is green.

+His hair, eyes and bow tie are also green!
This is from Pokejungle and seems to be very accurate.

Um, how? It's impossible to tell since we know nothing for certain.

Even assuming Desukan's typing is one of Ground/Ghost or Rock/Ghost, you must remember that Drill Liner could be either Rock-, Ground-, or Steel-type so you could never know for sure without first ascertaining the typing of one before the other.
It does neutral damage to Desukan and super-effective damage to Piggie.

It's Ground-type, meaning Desukan is likely Ghost/Ground.

EDIT: It could be Rock-type, but Moguryuu/Doryuuzu are Ground-types and Drill Liner seems to be their signature move.

I think some system changes are in order before we even start talking about new pokemon.

Stealth Rocks: everyone hates Stealth Rocks, but if you cap the max damage it can do at 25 Percent, then you fix the reason it was made in the first place, to balance out flying types with their immunity to Spikes and Toxic Spikes. This will allow pokemon with a crippling 4 times weakness to be used more effectively, and balances out Stealth Rocks and Spikes in an assumingly type balanced metagame.

I agree that change is needed. However, I disagree with the fix you propose. What if, like weather, screens, and field effects (Trick Room, Gravity, etc), entry hazards lasted five turns? This assumes there's no item which boosts the duration of entry hazards by three turns. This will lead to superior gameplay balance and cause the extinction of the suicide lead.

I dislike Stealth Rock. Were it not for this entry hazard, Charizard, Yanmega, and others would be viable competitively. That a permanent (unless spun away), fire-and-forget move can render numerous Pokemon nonviable is unfair.

Conversely, I'd be in favor of Pokemon that permanently summon field effects. No perma- screens/hazards, though, as such would be game-breaking.

Isn't Hail already outclassed by sandstorm?

The rumors of Dento being a grass leader do make sense... my guess would be either Normal, Steel, or Grass.
I initially thought Dento would be a bug-type specialist, due to his green hair and general similarities with Aaron. If Dento does use grass types, I wonder what type Aloe (who also has green hair) could use. On a different note, has anyone seen the new trailer on Pokebeach? Kibago uses Dragon Dance. Welcome to Ubers!!!

i have just seen the map of isshu and i notice there are two big ice mountains, does anybody know why they haven't revealed any ice type pokemon eventhough they have 2 big ice mountains?

I believe Ice, Fighting and Poison are the only types that haven't been represented in any of the new pokes.

Too bad, I love poison types!

my hopes for new typing are: Ice-Fighting, Water-Ghost, Poison-Psychic and Electric-Fighting. also, i want a pokemon based on a tucan or a polar bear (maybe would be Normal-Ice)

It's possible that they both have only 2-3 ice pokemon wild to them (Medicham was outside Snowpoint City, remember). Also note that GF don't necessarily reveal Pokemon that are indicative of the type spread, eg last generation they unveiled almost every water type even though there were very few of them, but didn't unveil many of the more common ground types.
