I think some pokemon such as flareon and charizard i see mentioned need more than just a new ability. they need a combination of a good ability and move choices.....or stats change lol j/k btw would anyone think they would change stats?(rby > gsc I know thats highly unlikely for this new gen)

Honestly, I'd give each Pressure legendaey a differernt ability. Mewtwo would dominate Red/Blue style if it had something like Tinted Lens.

Tinted Lens wouldn't really help him. I mean, he runs any of Aura Sphere, Shadow Ball, or Ice Beam, which gives him pretty good coverage in two moves. It's not like he could abuse STAB Psychic with all the Dark-types running about, and Metagross would still wall it (4x resist -> 2x resist).

Outrage, more like it. Tinted Lens Flygon would have unresisted coverage with just Dragon-type moves. Shit, it could run Draco Meteor / Outrage / U-turn / Earthquake with Life Orb.

Dnite should get Simple. After a DD he might do a lot with base 134 attack and at +2 speed... he really gets a BOOST

Just a quick aside, Mijumaru's final evolution appears to be based on the Giant Otter.

. In fact, Miju3 is more otterlike than Miju2. It has a long, tapered nose, full whiskers, and stands and presumably runs on four legs. The blue coloring simply comes from Mijumaru's ears, tail, and paws, and Miju2's bottom fur. They don't look drastically different at all to me, especially accounting for the fact many otters have a body shape and four-legged stance that Miju3 acquires upon evolution.


But that doesn't stop Pokabu's line from sucking hardcore. >>

This would actually be somewhat disappointing, since they already 4x resist fire/electric respectively. Useful, but almost a waste when stacked with their typings.

Uhg, don't want Tinted Lens Flygon >.> It'd make sense and be really good, but it'd be a bitch.
 
To me, they looks more Fire/Dark than Fire/Fighting. Or even Fire/Ground. I do like the tails on them. From Bomb, to smoke cloud explosion, to burnt out fuse. :)
 
I'm hoping fire gets a some new utility moves. It doesn't have much for uniqueness, aside from willowisp, sunny day and eruption. Grass has tons of unique moves. Leech seed, ingrain, the drains, sleep moves, aromatherapy... Water doesn't have tooo many, but water doesn't need a buff. They have aqua ring, aqua jet, rain dance, brine dive, water spout, etc, plus one of the best typings around. Fire's just boring.
 
I hope they don't give Simple to other Pokemon. It's Bibarel's only niche! I love using Curse/Amnesia/Return/Waterfall Simple Bibarel (yes, I'm aware it is easily walled by the likes of Empoleon).


Someone said in another forum that Encourage Flareon would be interesting. Any thoughts?
 
there should be a new ability similar to motor drive, flash fire, volt absorb or water absorb but with ice type moves, so we could lure ice type attacks with pokemon with 4x weakness to ice like gliscor, flygon, etc

The new dream world feature allows you to catch pokes with abnormal abilities. For example, a Vaporeon with Hydration or a Leafeon with Herbivore. The three Kanto starters have been confirmed to appear but no one knows what abilities they'll have.

I sent him the post from Anonymous with the forensic test and all of this source stuff.

On the source: "No. My source is not Pokexperto. (Then what the hell WAS your souce?) Mine is my usual insider contact and I have no reason to doubt him. Everything else he's told me has turned out true" (Oh, okay, your source is the invisible man)

And to the forensic test scan: "It's being done on images which have been captured, resized, saved, cropped, resized and saved. Plus it is not an accurate test."

Really? Is that why the forensic test says that the most altered area of the photo is where the Pokemon are, not all around?
